Incredible portions!!! No matter how big your appetite –you will be amazed by the sheer size of your order. My tofu was flavorful and unique. My husband’s lunch had delicious fresh peppers and an abundance of pork. There was a distinct Korean fusion brought to this café’s dishes. The flavored were fresh and inspired, just not what I consider traditional Chinese. I will certainly return to explore the menu further. I did note that most of the regulars indulged in the noodle soup bowls… next time I’m trying this!

Koreans know a secret… that Korean-Chinese food is its own delicious genre, distinct from any ‘Chinese’ food. I crave this place like no other. They have delicious tangsuyuk(fried pork in sweet sauce), kkanpoongee(crispy fried spicy chicken – way better than any other ‘Korean fried chicken’), and jjajangmyeon(black bean noodles). The owners are friendly and hardworking, which are plusses. Large portions, so sharing is easy. This place sure looks dingy from the outside, but it’s homey, cheap, and delicious!

The kimichi sucked but everything else was delicious! They even catered to me as a vegan. The meal came out reasonably fast

My elderly Korean friend and I have been going to this restaurant for years and have been very satisfied with both the food and the service. I always order jambong. I could live on this dish, it’s so flavorful.

Yum. Okay so yes, the restaurant is a total hole in the wall, but who cares — I’m there for the food. And it was awesome. We had jajangmyun, jjam bong and beef tang soo yook. Everything was delicious including the cabbage kimchee.(I love that) Service was great, the owner made her rounds and they had three waitresses working which is a lot for a small space. Saturday at 12:30 and the place was packed with one party waiting. They must be doing something right! Would return for sure if in town again.

It is hard to find a good Korean restaurant with good customer service. My family and I went here for lunch and we enjoyed it. I open the lid to the hot tea to see what happens. She noticed it and promptly brought more tea and I did not even have to ask. The place was filled with customers as we were leaving. That is a good sign.

I’ve never been to Korea but I feel this may have been the best Korean style poop noodles/blackbean sauce/jajangmien(Whatever you want to call it) in my life. I got the version where the sauce is cooked on a pan for a bit. This style I feel actually helps put the third dimensional flavor in this style dish. With the char on the meat in the noodles giving it a smokey wok flavor that is subtle but on point. CAUTION! — Just be sure to dress to get messy. Using your ski jacket is a solid shield. You will want to eat it and you’ll want to eat it quick this dish is so good.

Probably the best jjajangmyun(noodles in a black bean sauce) in Colorado, or at least Aurora. The black bean sauce is pretty authentic and tasty, but could use a touch more flavor; still, overall you can’t go wrong with this one. It’s a bit slimy and messy(as it’s supposed to be), so be careful as you slurp away. Tangsooyook(sweet and sour pork or beef) is okay, with a VERY goopy sauce(don’t let this sit at all) and crisp, crunchy meat. The veggies do not always taste very fresh which is why I’m giving three stars instead of four. Overall, it’s a decent Chinese/Korean café.

This is our favorite Chinese-Korean noodle spot. For those not familiar with this type of food, I recommend the black bean sauce. It’s one of our favorites. It’s hard to describe the flavor to those that have never had it. But the qualities I look for are the firmness of the noodles and whether the sauces are too watery. And this place gets it right almost every time. Firm noodles and the sauce is smooth enough to spread but not so watery that the flavor is lost. Do not come here for the décor. It’s a simple dive for those in the know. And for those that know any better … yes, the black bean noodle dish is supposed to come out with scissors.

Black bean noodles ate decent here. They give you a giant amount of noodles for it. One can share an order.

In terms of the food, I love it. There aren’t a lot of places to go for Korean style Chinese food and I enjoy coming here with friends. What I’m unhappy about is the customer service. This past Sunday night(10÷12÷14) I went to pick up a to go order about 30 minutes before closing and as soon as I walk in, one of the workers looks at my brother and I and says, «Oh shit». I completely understand how it feels to have customers come in last minute after a long day but that is not a legitimate excuse for letting that slip. I will continue to go here because I still enjoy the food very much, but their workers really need a lesson in customer service and just good manners in general.

This is not your regular Chinese restaurant. It’s more geared towards the Korean population. My husband and I had to drive all the way out to Aurora because there isn’t a Chinese restaurant that cook the dishes that Koreans usually order. The restaurant could be cleaner and more organized. When we walked in, it was extremely hot. It must’ve been over 80 degrees in there. Not a very good setting to eat. We ordered Jjamppong which is a spicy seafood soup with the sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork came out ten minutes before the spicy seafood soup and I really didn’t like that. Also the spicy seafood soup wasn’t as spicy as it normally is. And trust me, I can’t eat too spicy foods and even I wish it was spicier.

Ever had a dish that you dream of for years afterwards? For me Champong, a spicy seafood soup, is the elusive gilded idol. Tasty, red broth with a mix of seafood and veggies. I am in love. Over 10 years ago I had a magical bowl of Champong at a restaurant where we waited over an hour because they forgot we were there. Fortunately, regular customers entered and our food followed. I would have waited longer once I tasted it. That one time was all I had. The eatery closed and my obsession began. P Y is the closest I’ve come to the Champong of my fantasies. The broth lacked a richness on its own, but with the other ingredients and a little tabletop mixing(fish and soy sauces) it was quite nice. Egg rolls very hot and crisp. Definite returning.

This place has the best black bean noodles in all of Aurora. Being K-town, that’s a pretty substantial claim, but this is the place that other friends always want to go to, and where I want to bring people if I want to introduce them to those delicious black bean noodles. The seafood noodle soup is also good. They also have a tasty appetizer dish, the crispy shrimp in garlic sauce. I like eating it with a side of rice, rather than on its own like it’s meant to be eaten. Overall good prices, good service. It’s a smaller restaurant so sometimes there’s a wait, especially when you’re planning on coming in during lunch.

Pretty decent Korean place for jajangmyeon(black bean sauce noodles), jam pong(seafood noodle soup), and tang soo yook(sweet, sour, and crispy beef). I wouldn’t get or rate this place on the other dishes because that’s not what they’re known for. Portions are HUGE for every dish. The tang soo yook was our«appetizer» but it filled 5 adults and 2 kids quite well. It’s served on a platter and was nicely crisp except I agree with another reviewer in that it’s a tad too sweet. Batter could be a little less but at least it wasn’t greasy. You can’t go wrong with the jajamyeon because it’s hearty and saucy. Jam pong was great for cold weather but with this dish, the seafood is usually frozen so it doesn’t taste as fresh as it could. The spice level of the broth was adequate though and was rich in flavor. I’m very surprised at the quality of Korean restaurants in Colorado and glad there are these offerings among the cows, bison, and what not.

Cant recall but one of my Singaporean friends ever mentioned to me, about this restaurant and she told me it was good. Cant recall which dish she ordered though. Was here with A. W from running some errands in this part of the neighborhood. Thankfully we managed to get a seat for 2, before the LUNCHRUSH Weekend Madness. Saturday April 7th2012 Time was about 11:50hrs ish. Once seated, given the menu. We browse the Menu. It was sunny outside so I am exactly not sure what to order let alone trying to figure what I am craving for that Lunch hour. I am slightly puzzled with the«offerings». Is this a KOREAN restaurant which offer Chinese and Korean dishes or ??? From the«brief» menu, here were the items we ordered : * Crab Cheese Wontons * Szechuan Beef * Korean Noodles with Thick Black Bean Sauce(Seafood) if I am not mistaken or if I could recall correctly, this dish named is Jajangmyun. Once we decide on these, we waited. Man, this place is indeed jam-packed with other Patrons alike, mostly being Koreans, coz whenever, another«party» comes inside, the servers spoke in Korean to each other. I bet this place is indeed swamped with«REGULARS» who knew about the food and perhaps its the only in town where you get that kind of food. Anyhoos, while waiting for our order to be ready, the servers gave us the pickled daikons, raw diced onions, «mystery black sauce» and kimchi to our table. For this«condiments», it was just A-OK. About 5 to 10 minutes of waiting, my order of Crab Cheese Wontons arrived. Nothing stellar nothing fancy. 5 minutes later, my main entrée of Szechuan Beef came. Such a disappointment coz, for one, they fried the beef into GODKNOWSWHAT I AMEATING, it was SOTOUGH, that my appetite went DOWNSOUTH. It was spicy and sweet in a BADWAY. BIGBUMMER 5 minutes after the arrival of Szechuan Beef, came A. W’s main entrée of Jajangmyun. This dish consists of the Korean noodles, with slices of cucumbers. As for the Black Bean Paste Sauce with Seafood, it comes with«variety» of seafood and raw diced of white onions. This dish comes with a pair of scissors. Man, this dish alone is a WEIRD dish in some good or bad way, depends on what you look at, or even taste. We shared all these 3 dishes, being the WEIRDEST was that Jajangmyun. No wonder you need that pair of scissors to cut the noodles into chewable, edible portions. That THICKSEAFOODBLACKBEANPASTE Sauce, is so bland, but it can be addictive too in a WEIRD sense of way. A. W, my friend bet to differ, since I think she is liking the dish she ordered. Mind you, one bowl is DEFINITELY plenty to be shared among 2 or 3 friends. Another disappointment about this Jajangmyun are the amount of tiny seafood you can find or perhaps«go thru» with bits of octopus tentacles, dried scallops of somekind, and if you are lucky bits of diced shrimps. At the look from other tables, other patrons are enjoying their food ESPECIALLY this Jajangmyun, but not as much for me. Maybe next time, if I were to return though NOTIN A HURRY, I might just ask my friend, who has Korean families, and perhaps see how my review might differ. Had«plenty of leftovers»… That lunch cost $ 27.65 without tips and tax. As other patrons left, the servers cleared the other tables promptly and very fast so other new patrons came in dining in. @64/2012
