I had been searching for a new laundry service when I found this place. I had a simple order but I needed it done quickly. The lady at the counter told me it would be ready the next day. I told her that was fine and I would pick up the clothes first thing the next morning as I was crunched for time. She then told me they have same day service if I wanted it. SCORE. I now have a new laundry service and am very happy with their work.

I brought my wedding dress here to be cleaned based on the previous review and unfortunately had a worse experience than the other Unilocaler. I took it in to be cleaned on July 22 and was given a pick up ticket for July 27. After some travel, I went in on August 3 and the woman couldn’t find my wedding dress. She looked through piles of dresses for about 10 minutes but couldn’t locate my dress. She called her boss and then informed me it would be ready in 2 days. I told her it was supposed to be done a week ago, and she apologized saying in her very broken English, «two days more, two days more.» I went back 3 days later(just to be safe) and a different woman still couldn’t find the dress. I told the woman I didn’t understand why it wasn’t done, I had been in previously and was given the same excuses, etc. I’m not sure why no one could find my dress. This woman’s English was even more broken and I quickly realized that trying to explain anything was a fruitless endeavor. Then I notice a sign on the wall saying they will replace UPTO $ 50 on lost or stolen items. This did not make me feel better knowing how much my dress actually cost me. I asked her to look for my dress one more time and that I didn’t even care if it wasn’t done, I would just take it as is, and get it cleaned elsewhere. After about 20 minutes she finally came back with my dress in the box(cleaned). Either they are very disorganized and have poor communication with their process or my dress was purposefully hidden. They quoted me $ 119 for the whole shebang on the phone but then my receipt said 129.00 the woman had no idea about the price and didn’t really understand what I was asking, do I just gave up and paid the higher price. Scam? Maybe. Very poorly run business. Absolutely. My dress did turn out nicely, and if I was just going on that, I’d give them 4 stars. But having to wait so long, come back after giving them an extra 10 days to get it done, get over charged, almost have my dress lost… Not worth the stress. I really think the whole process would have been easier if someone there spoke English. The lady who rang me up at the register wasn’t even sure how to use the credit card machine. She asked me to punch the numbers into her credit card machine, and her hands were shaking. Yikes! Good thing I knew what I was doing!!! The people all seem very nice and I’m sure they weren’t trying to scam me or run their business like this, but I have to be totally honest: I won’t ever take my clothes there for dry cleaning again. Not worth the stress, especially with my wedding dress!

Brought my wedding dress to this location of New Look Cleaners as it’s nice and convenient to home. I had previously brought my dress to another cleaners and was quoted $ 350 to clean and press it. I asked for a quote here and after a quick lookover of the dress, $ 65 was outlined. Sold! A week later, my dress was ready to be picked up and it’s super clean and in amazing shape. It has different layers, some that look like fans, and all of the same details are still there. A few turbo stains along the hem thanks to the dirty streets of downtown, weren’t able to be removed but I wasn’t concerned. Pricing is excellent and they do very good, and quick work! Shop hours make it easy to come in on weekends and after work during the week. I would definitely recommend this location!
