I enjoy the way they amuse their clients. They solution all of my questions, really pleasant. Also, all of them are really well-​informed using their items! Amazing!

I will NEVER shop at this store again. I just purchased a used guitar for my daughter for her birthday. I know absolutely nothing about guitars. After watching a youtube video on how to trim the strings, I visited this shop with the intention of purchasing a winder. (I’m not sure that is what it is even called) When I walked in the store, no one acknowledged me. I walked up to the counter where an employee was busy on a computer and with some papers. He asked if I needed something. Duh! I told him that I didn’t know anything about guitars, and what I was looking for. He said they had the winder, and continued with his work. Ummm… as I wandered he came over and opened a container and handed me the said winder. I also asked what sort of pic she should be using. He pointed to a small selection, and went back to the counter to do his work. Ok. Did he not hear me say that I know nothing??? Hello! All he had to do was strike up a conversation… ask a few questions. I would have likely purchased whatever he told me I needed to get my daughter started with her first guitar. I don’t even know if the strings are good or need to be replaced. How would I know? In fact, I had the guitar in my car and would have been delighted to bring it in and have someone look at it, give me some advice, maybe show me how to trim the strings, or put a new string on. But maybe that’s not what this store does? I’m beyond pissed. I should have just gone with my gut and walked out the door, and headed on over to Guitar Center. The winder-​thingy I purchased has the most god-​awful screetching sound. I can hardly wait to use it. Not. This store might be ok for the experienced guitarist who knows what they need. But for someone inexperienced looking for help and guidance, forget it. Go somewhere else. And by the way, I believe it was two Christmas’s ago my husband came to this store to purchase a gift for me — a metronome for my piano. He too was unaware of what type to purchase and could have really used some professional assistance. He told me after Christmas how rude the employee (s) were, and how frustrated he was. I was hoping that as an isolated incident. But obviously two years later, this is how they do business.

Brought some musical equipment here to sell. The staff was helpful and thorough, and was very straightforward about how I’d be paid (they look up what things sell for and give you 50% of that price in store credit, or 40% cash). I took the cash and was on my way. Of course I could’ve got more if I sold on my own, but that’s always the case. If you’re looking to sell instruments to a pawn shop or musical store, I’d recommend this shop.

I came here to check out basic used bass guitars and amps; I’m a guitar player but wanted a simple bass to mess with. I found a decent 4-​string, ¾ size SX bass and a new Starcaster 15B amp and a 3-​foot cable, all for around $ 250 maybe less! I’ve had them for around 2 months now. Idk if it’s the cable or amp, but the wiring is sometimes off. The bass plays well for the most part, though the tone isn’t the best. For the price, however, this was a steal! I don’t think I would have found anything nearly this nice for around this price at Guitar Center. I highly recommend!

What a great experience I had today. Dave was very helpful. Changed my strings, adjusted the neck, helped me find a great amp used and took his time helping me. I will return and tell everyone about you guys! Thank you for the best of customer service experience!

LOVE this place! I have kids that are musical but I am not and, therefore, in foreign territory. The employees here are always honest and straightforward and helpful. We just took my son’s guitar in there when we couldn’t figure out the issue it was having and they not only figured it out, they fixed it in 10 minutes and only charged me $ 5. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

After a friend recommended music-​go-​round, I decided to check it out today. They have a pretty decent selection of well priced guitars and accessories. I picked up a Gibson epiphone, a strap and a chromatic tuner for all together $ 135. I was greeter pretty quickly and the guitar was cleaned and tested before being sold. I will definitely come back again.

I needed the action adjusted on an old Squire i had hanging on the wall for 15 years and after waiting for the sales staff to get to me. he was able to fix my guitar and give it a once over in about 15 minutes. total cost 5.00
The store is small with a decent selection of used equipment. I was mainly interested in the guitars and amps so i cant comment on their other musical equipment like Violins and keyboards. They have one main check out area right in the middle of the store and its gets a little cramped around that area when they are busy. This place is worth checking out if you are in the aurora 7 hills area.
Super friendly and helpful. My first impression was pretty good. and some of their prices were cheap enough the guitars practically jumped into my hands.

Looked online to see their inventory, and found the Guitar and Amp I wanted, and I was also going to buy accessories as well. I got to the store, and walked in, and for 45 minutes, nobody said ‘hello’ or ‘Can I help you’ or anything. The lady at the guitar wall was with a customer so I waited patiently beside them. She glanced at me a few times and walked passed me as if I was in her way. I just shrugged it off, and kept looking at the guitar I wanted. It felt good, and I was ready to buy, just needed someone to help me. I suppose the lady in guitars was the only person who could help in guitars, as the other staff were just mulling around in other departments.
When the lady was done with her customer I eagerly awaited her to return so I could make my purchase. As it turns out, she had left for the day after her customer, and another staff member came over to the guitar wall, sat beside me, and began to play a guitar. I looked at him as he was fiddling with an amp and playing. This was pretty much it, so I left without making a purchase.
If I could give lower than 1 star, I would. This was the most irritating experience I’ve had. Most unhelpful and somewhat rude. I suppose they are all really millionaires that do this as a hobby and don’t really need to sell anything. At least, that’s how it felt.

Well trained staff that knows their products and how to work on musical equipment/​instruments.

I went in to sell my Korg keyboard. I found the staff knowledgable and helpful. The amount I received was well under market value. If you want to get the best price for your equipment it would be better to use craigslist. Their selection of equipment is nice too. While you will get a small price break on your purchases you still may find a better deal online. Assuming you have the time to shop around.

I bought my first DEAN acoustic guitar from this location. I also LOCKED MY KEYS inside my RUNNING minivan outside this locations store. The manager… who still works there.(five years later) got into his vehicle, drove me HOME (IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC) so that I could get my second set of keys… then drove me back to the store!!!) so that I could unlock said vehicle…(with still blaring radio) so that I could continue on with my on with my «special» life. I have taken guitar lessons at music go round, I have purchased violin strings and a chin rest for my son here. I love Music Go Round, and I hope they, and their values, go on into infinity in customer service. Shop here !

This is a tiny store with all the essentials: guitars, percussion, some orchestra and wind ensemble gear. I don’t think their selection is very well refined though (which could be a reflection of the interest in the area for high end instruments). Being an acoustic guitar player, I walked into their guitar room and didn’t see any guitar I would be willing to put my money on. They didn’t carry my favorite brands (Martin and Taylor). So I moved onto the percussion session. They didn’t have a whole lot of drums to choose from, and when it came to the other percussion stuff, I couldn’t find a whole lot of variety with the exception of some shakers and bongos.
I do think they are a good store if you need just basic stuff like strings, cables, music sheets (though their music sheet selection is also limited). They do offer music lessons in two separate sound proof rooms.
The staff seemed a little busy when I walked in. They didn’t say anything to me in 20 minutes… which makes me think very seriously about their customer service quality. All in all, this was an okay store. The location is very convenient (sitting near 24 hour fitness).
