After much time spent learning and working with various internet and web technologies it became time to put the knowledge and experience to broader use. The impetus for this was really two-​fold. The first factor was the downturn in the overall technology market which put a great number of software engineers into the category of jobseekers. The second factor was simply thinking about the number of small businesses there are in any given area and how those businesses might get more promotional bang for their buck using the internet.
