I cannot say enough about Kristie. I’ve been going to see Kristie at Sola Salon for a few years now. No matter if my hair is natural or I’m wearing a relaxer, long or short, Kristie has no problem maneuvering my hair & keeping me stylish. She’s very communicative when it comes giving you exactly what you want. If you want something that your hair can’t really accommodate, she will tell you then talk you through how she can help you get to that look or what she can do to make it similar. She checks with you as she is processing your hair to make sure the length, shape, & look that is forming works for you. She has always been very informative for me when discussing my next bold color, too. She does everything a stylist does with the exception of relaxers, weave, things along those lines but she can work with any hair type. She also does facial waxing.
Her hours have changed to accommodate those of us who work 9 – 5 on a couple of days which is helpful. Expect to wait if you have an appointment at a certain time which is the norm for many stylist. She’s off on Wednesdays now & only takes cash on Fridays But… those are the breaks when you have a stylist with a full life. It won’t deter me from continuing as a customer.

I was blown away by my haircut!!! She worked a miracle on my hair and taught me how to care for it. Im super low maintenance and she gave me a cut that works for me and looks great everyday!!! If I would give 10 stars if I could. Oh her prices are amazing as well. I am soooo happy Ive finally found a stylist that knows what the heck she’s doing :-).

Kristi really knows her stuff when it comes to hair!!! Best short cut and style I’ve ever had and she has a delightful personality as well.

Great experience all the way around. Kristi is very attentive and knows what she is doing unlike some people that I have been to. I have also been to a couple of stylists that have had the personalities of logs. Kristi is very personable. Today was my first visit but I will go back for certain. No complaints!

I have been in Aurora for about two years and had been looking for a stylist I trusted and did great work. After a series of «ok» stylist I got on Unilocal and found Kristy. She is great, makes good recommendations and has fair prices… I won’t go anywhere else…

Kristi is awesome. She does dry cuts which I was very nervous about at first but I’ve actually come to really love them– it allows me to get a feel for what my hair will actually look like when all is said and done so I can adjust as needed. She is super friendly and easy to talk to. She dis my hair color in the winter and it came out great as well, exactly what I wanted.

OMG I just can’t say enough! Having moved from CA in the summer, I’ve been long overdue for a cut and color but couldn’t bring myself to risk the horrors of finding a new stylist. Thankfully Unilocal led me to Hair Architect and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Kristi was able to highlight my dirty blonde hair naturally and without overdoing it like most stylists tend too. Plus she taught me tips and tricks for my naturally wavy hair, including different tools she recommends without in any way being pushy or preachy. Just the best! Looking forward to a long hair relationship with her!:):)

I have used Kristi for the past six years and I have cheated on her a couple times. This was a huge mistake as I never am as happy as I am with her. She understands cut color style and she’s not afraid to tell you what looks good and doesn’t look good on you. She did the hair for my wedding which was absolutely spectacular and also for a few other headshot photos which I received many many compliments. If you want to look your best and get honest feedback you should come here. Watch out doe the traffic and give yourself plenty of time As they are near the light rail construction.

Kristie is incredibly knowledgeable about different hair types, what lengths work best where and when… she knows her stuff. She gave my 8yo daughter an amazing education about how to take care of her curly hair and embrace it. She gave me an amazing cut that brought all my curl back. LOVE HER. Best of Denver/​Aurora.

Kristie at Hair Architect gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever received. She really gets to know your hair by asking you some questions and then she cuts your hair. I would strongly recommend her for any hair type.

I have used Kristie for the past six or seven years and she is the only person I trust to trim/​cut my wavy/​curly hair. I have never gotten a bad haircut from her. I’ve worn my hair at various different lengths during this time and she works miracles in my hair, no matter the length.
Consultation costs $ 25 and this cost will be applied to your haircut and/​or color. I do not know how well she does with color services since I do not color my hair.
She does not accept credit cards.
I’m the type of person who tends to go too long between hair trims (procrastination and I just don’t like getting my hair cut), however when my hair decides it’s not going to work for me anymore, I need a trim right then and there. While Kristie is a one person shop, I can usually get in within a week.
