Business Owner

Back in 2003, Joe and Tonia Khouri started their lawn care business in the lower level of their home in St. Charles, MO. After working many 15-​hour days together and a total commitment to the business and each other, their commitment paid off when it grew into a successful small business. They opened a branch in the Chicago land area in 2007. Currently Green T Services includes a division for window, siding and door installation, carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, hardwood floor cleaning, air duct cleaning, pest control, marketing, landscaping, and lawn care. Green T operates out of a 78,000 sq ft building employing local residents and most of the key employees have been with Joe since the very beginning in 2003.

Showed up at my Mom’s house to find a huge mess.
She tried to save me the hassle of doing it or finding a good company to take care of it for her and went with this company. She tried to tell me, «but they were all so nice».
Nice does not fix the waste of money she spent, getting bad workmanship and quality. Very unprofessional, not to say that they would mislead an older person that way. Now I have to fix the screw-​ups they did. Guess what I’m doing this weekend.
Then after goggling the company, find out one of the owners is a politician. I guess that explains a lot.

I really expected to have a good experience dealing with Green T. Wayne was our sales rep that came out. He was short, and to the point. He wasn’t a sales person I would want to represent my company. But, when I found out I could get the same product and save money I chose Green T. Worst mistake ever. Tony came out, measured, everything was great. Then came installation. The installers were awesome. I had absolutely no issues with Adam. All of a sudden they start putting the patio doors in and there’s a 6 inch gap. Come to find out Wayne failed to tell me that he would order me standard doors. So now I’m stuck with patio doors that are too small for the opening. I had no clue until my old doors were already out. Throughout this mess, I was assured everything would be taken care of. Sure enough it was. They put foam in the 6 inch gap and said that will seal it. Well… all winter I had extremely drafy patio doors. I can feel drafts everywhere where this foam «insulated» I will never recommend Green T Windows again. I purchased all new windows through another company and have absolutely no drafts.

I had my windows installed over the summer. Financed at 0%. Everyone who came to help with the install was awesome. Even when I had an issue, everything was corrected beautifully. The windows and sliding glass door are amazing. Look incredible (huge improvement to the cheap windows that were built with my house) and my house is soooo much less drafty!!. Did I mention that it looks soooo good… Two thumbs up to the entire team! Thank you all.

I had this company out to give me a siding estimate. The salesman who came out was nice but didn’t seem like he knew anything about siding.
Then to top it off he leaves me a handwritten price on a replacement window brochure that literally said, «siding $ 7500 .046». And that was it!
Even though they were the cheapest price I got, the way the salesman didn’t know anything about what he was talking about and the fact that he left a very unprofessional price quote just totally turned me off.

We had our front door replaced by Green T. Overall I am very satisfied by the look. There are a couple of issues:
1. The door itself is about ½ inch taller than the previous door, which means it can no longer swing open fully. They did come out to look and see if there was something they could do, but unfortunately, there was nothing. Since I did not specifically state the door needed to swing open fully (as the old one did when they did measurements), I feel this is partly my fault. I do wish they would have paid closer attention to details.
2. The wood grain on the threshhold is has completely rubbed off in a 1 inch section. I contacted them today in regards to this and will update upon resolution. So far, any issues have been resolved quickly, so I’m hoping the same occurs here.
UPDATED:
Unfortunately, nothing could be done with the first issue… I will not be able to open the door fully. They did replace the threshold and I’m completely satisfied with the result.
Overrall, I’m happy with the final result. As I said before I wish I could open my door fully, but I feel this is partly my fault since I did not specifically state this during the initial discussions.

So, Green T finished the install yesterday, had a little delay with a random rainstorm and all but other than that looks AMAZING! I am so happy that I decided to finally bite the bullet and get this done, thanks again everyone who helped me make this house look just that much better! I even had a couple of generic questions I forgot to ask before they left this morning and called the office and Tony, once again, was able to answer them all!
I’ve had estimates and installs done with other companies before and I wasn’t upset, but for the cost and piece of mind alone I am recommending that my parents do their bay window with these guys too!
