For over 20 years, Fox Paintball has been serving up fun to our members in Aurora, IL, and the surrounding areas. In addition to selling paintball supplies, we offer field rental for paintball parties, team practice, and special rates for membership. Established in 1990.

Fox Paintball was established in February of 1990. Fox has been a major contributor to the growth and establishment of the game of paintball in Chicago land and the entire country. We’ve established the standard for safety by having the highest possible insurance safety rating of all paintball fields.

I came yesterday with my friends yesterday (about 25 of us) from the city. It was pretty badass! The staff and referees are really friendly. The safety video explains a lot so you really have to pay attention! Other than that we had loads of fun. They even let us bring out the grill and make some food! The most arena I had fun in was the ninja arena. I would definitely be back!

I had a great time. 1^st time at the paintball facility at Newark, IL 10.04.15 for my 1^st scenario game. James Bond” Scenario Spectre vs M16. Bad guys won. World domination. lol The woodsball field was huge. Also, I had a lot of fun at the Ninja Arena. Great location. It felt like an ultra marathon of paintball. Great xp and looking forward to the next event hosted there. Great prices for good quality paintballs and most importantly the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I met Carter at their retail store. He helped me with my paintball marker big time. It had an issue with the cyclone feeding system. The best part is that he is a certified tech and yes let’s say, he knows his stuff big time. It took him less than 20sec to figure out what was wrong with it. Good news, my marker is fixed and good to go. Also:
1. You can bring your own food and if you want to grill, you good.
2. Bring your own paintball.
3. Go to their retail store and get the goodies. Reasonable prices.

Had a bachelor party there this past weekend. I had booked at a different venue who ended up telling me they cannot hold my reservation due to another event they decided to book over mine, so I believe I spoke with Tim at Fox who was extremely nice and helpful and got me set up for their location on short notice. Everyone working that I came into contact with was extremely friendly and made this a very pleasant experience. Everyone in my group had a great time and enjoyed played the variety of fields available. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Fox Paintball!

Great Field (Millington IL), My first Paintball field I was taken to! Back in 2001. Always a great time and never had issues. Many types of players there always willing to help and staff. Watch the forecast fields can get really muddy and bring bug spray (Summer)

Best paintball in northern Illinois. I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff is. Has some of the cheapest prices in the Midwest. As far as the fields go, I’d put them up against any in the Midwest. Staff is better than any I have experienced. Prices are cheap as far as paintball goes. I would challenge you to find a comparable field that is as cheap that is as inexpensive in the No. IL. area. With regular scenarios and the best Young Guns Tournament series in IL and Wisconsin, there is always something for everyone.

We bought a deal on Price Finder and drove out from the city. About 1.5 hrs from downtown. We all had a really great time!!! Brought my 11-year-old son and his friends, for his birthday, and everyone had a blast. The selection of fields with different courses and speeds was just what we needed. This was all of our first time and the staff was very helpful. There are definitely some hardcore weekend warriors and gun enthusiasts out here, too…
TIPS: wear boots, camouflage or dark clothing, long sleeved HOODIE and gloves. It’s a GREAT idea to have a hood!!! Be sure to bring a large plastic trash bag (for your paint stained clothes) and a complete change of fresh clothes. Bring snacks and plenty of bottled water.
Arrive around 10 or 11am and plan to spend the day there. The rental equipment seemed to be very well maintained and was perfect for beginners. Bring bug spray, as there were still plenty of mosquitoes around in early November!
FINALLY, be sure to use the Newark, Illinois address for your GPS (10 389 Fox River Drive, Newark, IL 60 541). The Aurora address is not where the paintball field is located…

Of course, if you are a pro or experienced or at least have your own equipment, come here! This place is awesome! It has a speeds ball field, and amazing woods ball fields as well. The people here are more familiar with each other because it isn’t AS crowded as CPX and more than half the people are expierienced. It is such a great time also and I would rather come here than CPX because it is cheaper if you are not a new comer and it is a place where champions play.

I can’t say I’m a fan, but I don’t know what to compare it to as this was my first experience. It is quite far from the city and we got tricked into it by an online deal site, because the address listed on the deal was the corporate office, which was much closer.
We get there after 1.5 hours, parking was limited but we got spots. Some people were friendly and others were impatient. The safety video was funny but long and we couldn’t remember a thing. The referees were a lot less friendly and helpful.
We tried two different fields and it was more strict than fun. The referees were not paying much attention to the actual game and just wanted it to be over, so would pull people out from one team to get it done with.
No way to wash up or change after a game.

While this was my first paintballing experience, I can happily say the staff at this location were patient, professional and plentiful. i didn’t have any problems with my equipment and my marker had obviously been well maintained. They have a variety of areas to play in inflatable obstacles, corrugated pipes, wooded areas, makeshift urban settings and it seems like they also have themed events. I’d like to go back to see one of their special events.
We went with a group of 13 – 14 people and in the end after 4+ hours of play and several boxes of paintballs. While that day wasn’t super busy, we had a pretty low wait time between games and it was really up to our group to decide when we wanted to take on the next round. We usually just hydrated and rested between rounds. that we ended up paying less than $ 70 per person. I thought this was pretty reasonable given how much time and fun it was.
They had gatorade and water on sale for $ 1.50 a pop and a variety of snack foods available for purchase. I sure wish they were closer to Chicago.
Be sure to check their site for hours as it varies on the season and also take a look at the directions on their site. Their store is in Aurora, but the actual field is in Millington, IL 60 537.
