Consistent, go-to place for good food at a great price! The salad is wonderful. The portions are not huge, but the prices are way below other places. It’s always packed for lunch, especially on Sundays. Great sesame chicken, cashew chicken, surf and turf, etc.

East café is our go to spot for delicious Chinese food. My kids love the beef broccoli and sesame chicken. The service is amazing. Everyone is very nice and food is served quickly. From the wonton and egg rolls to soups and salads and their amazing entrée options everything here is good. There is not one option I would not suggest. If you are in the aurora area I highly recommend checking out this place.

East Café is one my favorite Chinese restaurants! I love how sweet the staff is. and of course the food is amazingggg. First, their hot and sour soup is one of the best I’ve ever had. And their bo bo platter is the best appetizer to share on the table. My favorite on the menu has to be their sesame shrimp and pan fried noodles. YUMM. So far everything I’ve tasted has been on point. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been eating here over 15years with my fam. The sesame chicken is my absolute favorite! It’s crispy and has a great sauce and the crunchy noodles really give it that extra touch. The fried rice is delicious! The wonton soup is AMAZING Especially when you’re sick! The eggrolls are delicious. And you have to try the bo bo platter appetizer when you eat in. They give you samplings of so much on the menu definitely grub!!! Only wish they delivered!!!

Ok. The food was pretty good. The servers were very friendly. The manager on the other hand… Here’s what happened. We had a graduation party for one of the sisters in our Church. When the celebrant went up to pay, her niece went up to try to pay before her. The manager then told the niece that he won’t taker her credit card because he didn’t trust her credit(or something along those lines). Of course the niece got upset and started crying. Her mom saw that and asked the manager what he told her. This was when the manager became very defensive and started yelling at the mom. The mom went back to her table with the manager still yelling, walking towards our table. We were all shocked by his behavior and just let him cool off. Totally not classy. He embarrassed our whole group. My recommendation. If you have to have their food, and the manager is there, just order take out. I feel sorry for the servers that work there.

We came here for lunch. We were seated promptly and out waitress was great! We got a spring roll and a chicken wing. The spring rolls were some of the best I have had in a while. The chicken wing was just eh. I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice, my friend ordered the Mongolian beef with brown rice and we shared the chicken lo mein with fried rice. My friend enjoyed his food, a lot. He also liked the lo mein, which was impressive since his idea of good Chinese is typically Panda Express. I loved my food. The sesame sauce was great! The lo mein was also excellent. We also got tea. I’m guessing it’s complimentary? We didn’t pay for it or ask for it, but it was yummy! I must have drank 10 of those little cups. We’ll be back!

My family and I have been going to East Café for years! It’s consistent and oh so good! Our favorites? Start with some Hot & Sour soup, move onto mongolian beef and orange chicken. And of course you need some cheese wontons! YUM!

This place was very mediocre and extremely bland. Prices are reasonable but really not worth it. Hurricane combo– super bland, not spicy at all. Chicken Lo Mein and Chicken Fried Rice were the best part of the order but very basic and bland also. Egg drop soup tasted like the container it was in. Egg rolls were soggy. Really great service though. Friendly staff!

I used to live in Aurora a long time ago. We were there when this place opened over almost 20 years ago. We have since moved away to another state and come back into town for family events. I was in town last week and I must say, this place is STILL, hands down, the BEST Chinese food EVER. Consistent, flavorful, affordable wonderful food for over 20 years now. You can’t go wrong here. Ever. If we come into Denver, we will make a stop here at least once. Always awesome.

My husband and I love Chinese, especially ordering it for delivery. We have tried numerous places. We finally decided to try this place after hearing about it from a friend. We actually sat down at the restaurant, and it was so amazing! From the service to the food everything was fabulous! Our server was kind and so efficient. We had dinner for two, which includes soup, and two entrees we also added in some appetizers. The hot and sour soup was the best I have ever had. We then had seasons chicken and hurricane beef, both were amazing. I feel like sesame chicken is a hit or miss and this one was definitely a home run! The best part, was the whole dinner was ridiculously affordable and well priced! I was in shock! We’re bringing our parents here tonight and cannot wait!

My inaugural Chinese takeout order was at East Café. I found a menu at which turned out to be outdated, so the total was about $ 2.00 more than I had anticipated(also, please be advised that the meals come with steamed rice and fried rice is 50 cents extra). I called in the order just before the dinner rush, and the man on the phone answered my questions and read the order back to me. He said it’d be ready in 10 – 15 minutes. I knew the restaurant was 10 minutes away from my house, so I left immediately, and my order was already ready when I arrived! I thought that this meant that my food would be cold by the time I got back home, but it was still piping hot. The spicy tofu and veggies wasn’t as spicy as I would have liked, but the egg rolls were good and I really enjoyed the cream cheese wontons. Not bad for my first time ordering takeout!

My favorite go-to staples are the Lemon Chicken and Hot & Sour Soup. East Café is known for the Lemon Chicken, and instead of saying it’s the best in town, I’m not from Aurora, so I’ll have to say it’s the best state-wide! The ratio of breading to sauce is just perfect. And the thickness, sweetness and color of the sauce is also a great balance. The Hot & Sour Soup is good because there hasn’t been any other places where I’ve had shrimp in a Hot & Sour Soup. If you like fried rice, I strongly recommend the Salmon Fried Rice, it isn’t very common and it’s a hit. If on the day I think it’s too salty, I’ll just ask for a little white rice and mix the two together and it’s delicious! On my most recent visit, I was introduced to the Beef Skewer appetizer. Woah, we were blown away as to how substantial, or «beefy» it was. It reminds me of Chinese style beef jerky, still juicy and tasty and a hint of pink. YUM. I’m not sure if vegetarians would love this place though, because the vegetable dishes we’ve tried are pretty lackluster. But it doesn’t matter so much, we just won’t order all veggie dishes! The best part of East Café is its FAST service and very affordable prices. I wish there are more such Americanized Chinese cafes on my side of town.

When you take New Yorkers out of NYC one of the first things they do is start searching for a good Chinese restaurant. So far we’ve found a few extremely bad ones, but East Café was highly recommended, so we figured we’d try it. While not up to par with NYC Chinese restaurants, the food was nonetheless delicious. The Hot & Sour Soup, though quite mild, was some of the most flavorful we’ve ever had and didn’t require doctoring. The egg rolls, more like spring rolls, were very thin, crisp, but quite greasy. Of the 3 entrees we ordered, the standout was the Hurricane Combo — slightly spicy with beef & chicken(we opted out of the shrimp), broccoli, and mixed Chinese veggies in an unthickened brown sauce. The Mixed Wonton Platter too was delicious, with beef, chicken, shrimp, and mango in a thick, sweet, mildly spicy fruit sauce. A little too sweet for my taste. The sauce on the third dish, Mandarin Chicken, tasted exactly like the Hurricane Combo sauce, with less spice and more sweet. I’d probably go back to try some of the other dishes, and give it another chance. Our waiter was personable, but not the best waiter. If you’re craving Chinese food, and you’ve been let down by Denver’s offerings, and you’re not intrepid enough for Federal Blvd… this might just fit the bill.

Tried this place on Wednesday and there was no wait. Server was very attentive and polite. They serve hot tea along with water at no charge. Got the medium hot and sour soup and it was very, very large. It comes in a big bowl and server poured it in two smaller bowls for us(very nice). Nothing unique about the soup other than it had shrimp in it, so that was nice. We took the Unilocal advice and got the Hurricane Chicken and Hurricane Combo. The food is good, large-ish portions. Pretty greasy but it was delicious. The server boxed and bagged everything for us and that was also very nice! We will have the soup and our entrees for lunch and possibly dinner tomorrow, too. And the price point was very good. + Service + Price + Portions

Love this place! We’ve been going to this restaurant for over a decade, since we were children. We always attend with family, the service has always been top notch and the food, always great! We always order(for about 5 people) A «pupu» platter or two, hot and sour soup, shrimp fried rice, lo mein, and combinations of a few dishes like shrimp & asparagus, velvet shrimp, imperial shrimp etc. We always try and order variety and we are always left satisfied!

Well ugh kinda disappointed we had a 20 min wait and they were so busy… I think that’s why they food didn’t taste as good as the first time they also have a different menu for lunch and don’t offer wonton soup with meals only hot and sour and egg drop. Both I don’t like so I got the salad??? Hmm not impressed it was lettuce drenched in soy sauce
