History

Established in 2015.

The Dr. Gadget story began when brothers Mo and Faiz decided they want to transform their small cell phone repair business from home to a store front location. They wanted to be able to bring devices back to life for customers on a bigger scale. Both are Certified Mobile Device Specialists as they have completed the Mengtor Mobile Device Training Course and have demonstrated proficiency and understanding in servicing all manufactured mobile devices.

This group was courteous and very thorough. They gave prices up front and a pretty good estimate of the time It would take to get repaired. They do everything they can possibly do to save you money and do it the most efficient way possible. They also are very friendly and still have new products in the shop to purchase.

My husband’s iPhone completely died out of the blue one day. I took the phone to the Apple Store and they said «nothing we can do» so I drove over to Verizon to weigh my options. As luck would have it, the Verizon store I was looking for had moved which led me to find Dr. Gadget. I quickly checked the reviews and decided to give them a try. What a good decision that was!!!
First and foremost, Moe and his staff are beyond friendly and helpful. They took a look at the phone and told me they had a few options they could try in house, but if those options didn’t work they could send the phone out. They prepared me up front that it could be awhile but since my husband had an old phone he could use I was willing to wait. They quoted me a very reasonable price as well — bonus!
Two weeks later and we got the good news that the phone was fixed… and my husband’s photos etc were also saved!!! That was a very nice surprise!
I’m so thankful we didn’t have to spend a lot of money to get a new phone! I’m so thankful that the staff at Dr. Gadget were so helpful and dedicated to trying every option available.

Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Very friendly and knowledgeable guys working here, they fixed a broken screen on my phone and removed a virus from my girlfriends phone that 2 other shops couldn’t fix.
I’ve been here a number of times and was in the area today and stopped in to grab a charger and noticed they now have hoverboard scooters as well. They were priced better than other nearby stores and had a superior quality product from what I’ve seen at the malls and online shops.
Definately recommend going here if you need a phone fixed or a hoverboard for christmas. Thanks guys!!!

This is the 3rd place I brought my phone to after no luck at the first two. My iPhone 5s dropped in the toilet (smh) and I tried to fix myself at first with rice. No luck with that tried two other places but they all said I was screwed or gonna charge me tooo much for what it’s worth, my buddy recommended me to go to dr gadget, they took about 3 days to fix it but they did an awesome job and got the water out of the camera lens. Phone works amazing now, the price was very reasonable as well, definitely gonna recommend these guys as a first choice for cell phone repair!!!

I had my iPhone screen replaced & a new battery installed. I dropped off the phone & everything was fixed under an hour! I also took advantage of the tempered glass overlay special deal that was offered.
The prices were very competitive & fair
They explained what may have caused my old battery to be draining so quickly & some tips to getting more life out of the new one
I also observed the staff was beyond patient with another customer who was having trouble understanding a setting on her phone. She was an older lady who was very technically challenged and he was so kind & patient with her.

From the bottom of my heart thank you to the wonderful staff at Dr. Gadget-​Phone and Tablet Repair in Aurora. Last night I splat went my phone on the concrete floor of my garage. As you can imagine I was devastated and freaking out all at the same time. I called these guys in the morning and they told me «No problem bring it by, if it is minor we can probably fix it within the hour.» Big sigh of relief, I could survive until the afternoon. Then my meetings ran late and I didn’t think I would make it in time. But thanks to my ace driving (i.e. crazy woman in a minivan) made it to the store just before closing. I thought «hey at least drop it off for pick up tomorrow» Sure I would have to live another day without my phone, but I could do it. I get there and everyone was super nice, they even stayed late and fixed my phone right then and there and under an hour. Thank you, Thank you Thank you!!!

After going to 4 places and sitting down on the sidewalk to cry in front of one of them I found Dr Gadget. The owners brother knew me from my gym– where I smashed my iPhone 6 plus. I was also referred by another friend… In my world as a small business owner the best business comes from referrals. So I wanted to make sure I wrote a review. All of these guys went above and beyond with customer service — thinking outside the box — never saying … «I can’t «or «I don’t know». In true entrepreneurial spirit they said «we will fix this». «We will solve the problem.» And they did. In a life full of obstacles and negative results– it’s very refreshing to deal with people that are not just in the business of phones and «gadgets» but in the business of solving problems… And making me happy in the process!
