I was happy to find someone that could actually work on our swamp cooler, most repair places won’t touch them anymore. So when our broke,(motor wasn’t working but the tiniest bit, blowing warm air possibly, etc) I called another company. They wanted to replace the belt, the motor and the pads for $ 1000. I chocked for a moment and then called around. Delta T was available the same day to come look at. The repairman noticed that it was just the belt not working. It was stretched and old and therefore as the motor speed up, there was slippage between the motor and blower. Low and high speeds work beautifully, the pump is fine, the pads are serviceable for the remainder of the season. $ 165 was a huge bargain and seems to have done the trick with a simple repair.

Jason Sanders(owner) visually inspected our A/C unit for $ 89. 00 claiming the condenser was broken and it would cost an additional $ 577.00 to fix a warranted part. When I called the manufacturer, they said it needed to be pressure tested and that Jason didn’t do that(he spoke to him)… I have been waiting for a call back from this guy for 2 weeks! I called another hvac company and he said the condenser was fine, the unit has no leaks, but the motor is on its way out… total charge $ 89. hmmm, Did Jason NOT call me back because he’s been caught trying to take advantage of an out of state woman?!? We may never know! I would call A&A Mechanical for all my HVAC stuff in the future!
