Awesome local place! Their Country fried steak was really good and great prices drinks. There is a lot of history at this place so check it out!

Amazing happy hour! Try the humus plate! Great prices. Casual atmosphere, not too loud, great drink prices. Ample parking. Check it out!

Really mediocre, typical tavern food. Taco Tuesday was very disappointing, even though they are cheap. Greasy meat, only hard shells. Well they do have beer on tap so I’ll give them two stars for that.

Your local pub through and through. Locals line the bar starting early but there are plenty of booths and seating areas for everyone else. Great happy hour prices.

It’s everything you want from a pub and nothing you don’t. They have greasy pub food, beer, juke box and pool tables. Although I’m unsure why they have so much Beaver crap around here? Aside from the vile orange coating the walls the atmosphere is perfect.
Is the food here amazing? No, but you’re at a pub and you get what you want at a pub — gravy, chili and deep fried. It’s interesting because the reviews on here call it divey but if we were in Silver Lake in LA it would be the hippest place in town and I’m sure you’d start seeing Michael Cera awkwardly looking over your shoulder every night. The beer would cost twice as much though.

I do not have extra fancy expectations, just a good burger is what I want, and I always get it here — great fries too. Have tried and really enjoyed the fish and chips, and clam chowder, but in all honesty, hard to sway me from the burger and fries. It is a little dark inside, but weather permitting, a nice porch out back and the staff is always very friendly.

They seem to have fixed the veggie burger issue. Good place with nice staff.

Their prices are pretty good. The people are friendly, but it’s one of those small bars where everyone knows everyone. It’s a *small* town, so it makes sense.

I can’t believe I never reviewed this place. I was sitting in here with my Ipad, I could have been doing it.
DH stopped in here a few weeks back on the way back from Salem and watching our band play. Left Coast Country. That was a fun trip. So yes found this place on Unilocal no less.
When we arrived in here, it was clear we were not regulars or even from the area. Very little people were in here and almost no one at the bar. They poured nice size drinks and the beer I guess was good, I’ll take DH word for it.
Nice little place and if I was in the area again, I would definitely go again. Nice «divy» feel. No food was ordered, but then again I rarely go into these kind of places to eat.

First off, tonight is TACO TUESDAY… and for the locals??? what better way to spend one of the most boring days of the week.
Whenever I meet some friends in this cozy little dive, we tend to ALWAYS be the youngest ones there by about 15+ years :) That being said, we all have our favorite friendly old drunks at the pub that make their rounds, waving, smiling and doling out hugs to any takers :)
There is one ample pool table that we tend to monopolize each time we come to play, but in all reality everyone here is pretty good at sharing… so you’ll get your turn.
Mikey is my favorite behind the bar :) Makes the best drinks in my opinion. But the other gals come in close.
So all in all, this place has a cute/​decent little outdoor patio with umbrellas, a jukebox, a few tv screens with games playing, a back room with plenty of gambling games, a pool table, a few dark cozy booths, and as I said before… the locals. If you’re looking for an authentically lazy Aurora night, this is your place :)
P. S. I have been to a few of their live music, and holiday events. There is usually quite a surprising turn out for that little bar :) Lots of fun!

It’s a fairly divey bar with the typical backroom slottery machines and lotsa cheap beer and its dark and chilly inside, perfect for growing mushrooms. Here is the kicker though, they have pretty good food menu. Their fish ‘n chips are actually some of the best I’ve had. Burgers ‘n fries are outstanding. Pretty much anything on the menu is good. Service is a bit sketchy depending on who the server is. They also have a good number of little TV’s with some sort of game going on.
