Bell Plumbing & Heating has been our family business since 1926. We are the 3rd generation to run our company’s day-​to-​day operations with the next generation of the Bell family in the store learning the business. With distinctive orange and white trucks and a beautiful 8,500 square foot showroom at I-​225 and Iliff Avenue, we’re proud to have built our business neighborhood by neighborhood throughout the Denver metro area.

I called Bell when both of our water heaters stopped working. They came out in just a few hours, arrived right on schedule, explained the problem and gave me a quote on the spot. Within a couple of hours the old water heaters were gone and we had hot water. Thanks for making this so easy!

Scheduling and the tech were both great. Chuck was there on time and finished water heater repair and kitchen faucet installation quickly. He is knowledgeable and friendly. I feel that I can count on Bell, however their rates are high.

Caveat: this is for the Parts portion only.
I’ve had to stop in the parts store twice within the last 2 years, and each time I find myself asking why I even bothered. The salesmen in the back may be helpful, but they always speak to me condescendingly and don’t take me seriously. I went in for a furnace part and they misidentified it and I went with another company (303 Heating & Air and they don’t charge a service fee, unlike Bell, and were much more helpful and pleasant).
Hopefully next time I will remember this and not waste my time again.
On the plus, the showroom is really nice looking.

While on an extended trip out of the country our furnace drain lines developed a leak and caused some minor flooding around the base of the unit. My son found the problem on a house check and saw that the lines were clogged and one was disconnected — — this after a company other than Bell had supposedly done a pre-​winter check of the unit. Mark M., the Bell technician, did a wonderful job in whole-​system diagnostics and adjustments. We have used Bell many times in the past and, in the future, Bell will be our sole source supplier for service and products. We’ve never had a problem with Bell service and products.

I have mixed feelings about Bell. I recently bought a new home. The inspector noted that the furnace needed a good cleaning and would need replaced in a few years. My father, along for the inspection, concurred. So I called Bell per a recommendation to clean and service the furnace. The guy who was sent used every scare tactic in the book to convince me that the furnace would not last the winter and that I was wasting my money. I went ahead with the cleaning. I concede — the furnace is older and I will probably replace it in a couple years. I will also concede that it may crap out this winter. But what this man was saying to me did not match up with the previous assessment, and the inspector was in my employ and would have no need to lie. Long story short — the technician did a good job cleaning it up, but I do not give repeat business to companies who assume they can scare me into buying a more expensive service. When the furnace does die, I will be using someone else to replace it.

Service people show up when scheduled. Furnace check-​up revealed some things that might need attention down the road, but no hard-​sell to repair or replace right this minute. Plumbers are polite, clean and willing to explain things. All around good experiences.

Our AC was broken right in the middle of summer’s heat. Bell Home Solutions came out and diagnosed our problem instantly. They informed me that my unit was over 30 years old and helped me chose a new one. Within 3 weeks we had a completely new furnace and AC unit and the house was wonderful again! The repairmen were extremely knowledgable and very kind. If you want a job done right, call Bell Home! Thank you for all your awesome work!

I’m very happy with the service I received from Bell. Tibor came to my house to fix a leaking shower drain and pipe. He explained the work he was going to do and showed me where the issues were. He did a very nice job with the repairs. This was my second time using Bell and I would highly reccomend them.

Tom was great! We had a leak in our ceiling and were concerned it was going to be very expensive. After diagnosing the situation, Tom assured us it was a very easy, very inexpensive fix. We will definitely use Bell for any future needs we might have.

We went through a couple of plumbing companies with variable results before settling on Bell. For the past few years we have called them for Fall/​Spring service on our furnace and evap cooler, as well as for a couple of emergency/​semi-​emergency calls. The «menu pricing» means that we always know exactly what a job is going to cost ahead of time. We request Greg R. whenever we can (in emergencies, we take whoever is available first.) Greg is friendly, communicative and always does a great job for us.
I’m giving Bell 4 stars and Greg 5 stars … a couple of times we’ve called an requested Greg only to have the office call back on the day of the appointment and let us know that Greg wasn’t working that day and did we want someone else to come out? Not a huge deal, but if one of us had to take time off from work only to have that happen, it’s a pain in the neck. Also, we went into the showroom to look at toilets and wanted to find out price/​availability of one of the ones on display. The woman who helped us said she would have to give us a call with the information, and the call never came. Overall, their service and their service people are both excellent, but their office has dropped the ball a few times. Inconvenient, yes, but not enough to make us change companies.

It took 18 months, but the outcome was worth the wait. We now have the master bath spa retreat that we dreamed of. After trying to work with 6 different companies, we turned to Bell Home Solutions. A number of the other remodel companies had sent us to their showroom. We thought we give them a try since they had been successfully servicing our Heating and AC needs for over 20 years. The team of Kurt, Danny, Jim and Charles exceeded all of our expectations. The bath room is unbelievable. It was pleasure to work with a team of true master craft professionals. They listened to our wishes, worked with us during the design and guided us through the demolition and installation of our new bath. Look no further, reach out to the team at Bell Home Solutions. Bathroom remodel. This place is so much more than emergency plumbing and is an unbelievable gem. We have been thinking and trying to design a bathroom remodel for months — looking online, going into Lowes and HD etc, but nothing really jumped out until today. Their showroom just off I25 exceeded our expectations in every way and now instead of simply having a new bathroom, we will have a design classic that unfortunately will show the rest of our house up!
But the real coup here was Spencer who was patient, incredibly knowledgeable in design and the products, not at all pushy and ultimately made it all so easy. In one respect I just wished we’d come here months ago, but really we are just grateful we came at all. Prices are great too, we have gone from just ok faucets etc. to Italian designs for marginally more.
If like us you have a bathroom project just come here within idea of which direction you want to go and they will go above and beyond to help. Fantastic experience.

Our main sewer line backed up and flooded the basement. We called Bell Plumbing to come fix it. We have used them for 18 years. They installed our HVAC, Hot water heater and furnace. Anyway, their router guy came out and tried to clear the line. He claims the cable was stuck at 80 feet from the sewer tap. He said he didn’t have the camera equipment and that Ryan would return in a week to video inspect the line. Total cost $ 447 and nothing was solved.
One week later Ryan brought the camera and said the line was compromised 50 feet from the tap. He didn’t show my wife any of the footage and then gave her two options. #1 $ 4900.00 to fix a five foot section with a 5 year warranty.
#2 $ 11,500 to replace the entire sewer line with a lifetime warranty.
We called another company and they were able to clear the line for $ 200 with no further problems.
I called Bell to see if they would adjust our bill since nothing they did was successful. I was told that Steve needed to talk to Ryan and that they would call me back. No one ever did.
I would be more than happy to alter the stars on this rating when the problem is resolved. I don’t think anyone would be pleased if they paid $ 447 and then the next day they were ankle deep in sewage carrying gallons and gallons up a flight of stairs in a Shop Vac.

Side Note, after several phone calls with owner Gary Bell and his team, we came to the mutual decision that a 50% refund was in order. They also offered to re-​scope the line at no charge. I received a check for half and will continue to use their services. EDITED ON 8÷26÷2014

I had to purchase a new water heater, and it was a specialized kind that uses the same heat for heating the house. This makes the install probably trickier than a basic one. My old one was not broken, but I didn’t want to wait for that to happen. It was getting there at 14 years old. Anyway, I looked at one other plumbing company before choosing Bell. Even though Bell was just slightly more expensive, I felt that the service they would provide would be exceptional, which it was. They are organized, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They have great installation people that you can rely on. It might be more expensive than some places, but you know you’re getting some of the best service. I would choose them again for any other plumbing needs.

Only use if you have lots of mula $$$$$$…My furnace was blowing cold air even after the troubleshooting to reset it… the guy came out…(it’s $ 75 for just coming out) then he banged on a platform that was connected to 2 wires and charged me $ 93!!!Repairman was nice & furnace came back on but the prices are outrageous!!! I’m sure there are lots of cheaper places.

Having to get a new furnace put in is never a good feeling, You feel pretty bad knowing that you are going to be spending a good chunk of money. Ours had to break down just as the new year started. The estimator, Doug was friendly and gave us lots of options to choose from but also helped us decide on what the best choice was for our needs. He was frank about products and we never felt pressured. Genuine guy looking out for our interests. In addition to all this he showed us that we had a humidifier on our unit that was not hooked up that still worked.
Fred and Mark removed our old furnace and installed the new one. They were knowledgeable and brought everything up to code. The work was very well done, cleanly and professionally. I am happy to recommend them to anyone to anyone. Rather than feeling like a huge expense to have a new furnace put it we feel more that we got a great value and a company we could trust.

Awesome faucet selections; A+ customer assistance; prices definitely NOT big box.
One saunter around Bell P&H at I-​225 and Iliff and you’ll want to redo every bathroom in your house. Ok, they had me at Kohler but the quality of plumbing hardware is something to drool over, not necessarily buy.
The faucets I liked started at $ 450 and ended at $ 950 — one faucet. Of course, they were the one touch on, one touch off kind — are we getting spoiled or what?
The customer service was intelligent and focused. Yah, you get what you pay for, I know.
