I have had the great service from the location and like the meat sales(buy one get two free).

Lines are way too long. No Self service checkout. Prices and quality are poor. King Soopers down the street is much, much better.

Having grown up in Southeast Aurora I thought it was the norm to wait in line to purchase groceries for over 10 minutes because the employees incompetence to realize another open register is needed. This is because Albertsons was the most convenient location for grocery shopping for many years in the area and developed and displayed a DMV-esque style of helping its customers. This Albertsons location has shown time and time again to have an inferior selection of produce, meats and fish and this, coupled with the employees constant disregard for a persons time has made for a terrible shopping experience for both the bulk grocery run and the late night grab-and-go’s.

The pharmacy staff is just awesome, I have been going there for many years. Karla is by far the best pharmacist I have ever met. She has gone above and beyond for me over the years. She knows me by name and asks how my kids are. I have moved, and there are several pharmacies closer, but will go the extra distance to have a pharmacy I can trust and always treated with care. Greg is also a great pharmacist, I know I’m forgetting the other members names. But have never had a bad experience. The manager of the store is also fabulous. Mary is outstanding. The starbucks inside the store is not the best, but I use it in a pinch, the staff there, can’t be bothered to make your drink. And they usually don’t stop their conversation with each other. I usually feel like I’m putting them out.

Of all the locations, I like this one best. They most always have a great meat and produce selection and they are smart about things. When I visited the other night I noticed a great area near the meat department of nearly everything you need for Thanksgiving dinner located in one area. Stuffing, pumpkin pie ingredients, veggies, sweet potatoes and all sorts of things. It was a great idea to not have to play super market sweep to get things and perhaps forget something. It was a really neat idea to put it all together so closely. I only grabbed a few things from there as it’s a bit to early for me still and will be a small dinner. One of the things I really dislike about most stores is once you learn where something is they move things all around. This most everything you need in one place for holiday dinner is BRILLIANT!

This place is on my way home so I thought it would be an easy stop to pick up some diapers and things I needed. FYI — they do not seem to carry boxes of Pampers Swaddlers. So instead I had to buy small bags(cause I needed diapers bad!) that cost more. I checked the price on formula on my way out as well, and it was $ 2 – 3 more than the King Soopers at Tower and Hampden. So even though KS is a little out of my way when heading home, it’s a much better deal. I say only stop here if you need a quick food item on the way home, otherwise, try somewhere else.

High prices and very little selection. I come here when I need to find something quick on the way home, but that’s about it.

This is the store you go to when you really need something and don’t want to go to a real store :) It is the only store over by E-470(w/o going down Smoky) so it often is the most convenient if you come home that way and live in Saddle Rock. However, it is small, open limited hours(not 24⁄7) and isn’t exactly cheap, but that is Albertson’s for you. They just can’t compete with the Kings of the world. It is fine if you need milk or forgot an item, but you can’t do your shopping here. I am glad it is here in a pinch, but it is only good for a stop in, not a full blown shopping spot.
