We are Aurora, IL’s only full service bead store. We have the friendliest staff in the area. Each one of us has our own design style and we love to help you find just the right beads to complete your projects. We specializing in customer service and lots and lots of classes in Wire Wrapping, Stitching, and Chain maille. Our chain maille inventory grows and grows each month. We have a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere and love for our customers to gather at the big table, work on a project, get some help and meet other beaders.

A Beadtiful Thing has been in business for 6 years. Karen Thompson purchased the business from the original owner in 2005 and has grown the business. We are proud of our reputation of being the friendliest shop in the western suburbs. We have an experienced staff of woman who love to bead and love to help others design jewelry.

I’ve always dreamed of having my own business. I have been sewing, knitting, beading and everything in between my whole life. After losing my technology job, this was a natural step for me to realize my dream. I wanted a place where people felt welcomed… a friendly, neighborhood meeting place.
