Quality Inn at Fort Gordon

STAY AWAY! While J — - at the front desk was very helpful at check in, that is where the positives ended. We were given a room UNDER the stairs. The beds are very stiff, and once J — - left for the night, customer service was nonexistent. We were about 3 doors down from a group of rowdy hillbillies. After being on the road for hours, they were not what we wanted to hear. I mean really, who has a hoedown in a hotel parking lot? We gave them till dark to calm down before we started complaining, just to be nice. When I called the front desk, a woman named V — — answered the phone, I told her our issue, she said she would call back. When she called, she said «the gentlemen said that they would turn the music off in a minute». In a minute!!! You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Well, my super tolerant hubby and kids said «let’s see what happens». MANY minutes went by, and no silence. We called the desk again, and received the same response. So, finally, V — — says she can switch our room. I think not! At 10pm, with three kids? Not dealing with the same BS in a different location. We repacked our bags, cancelled our stay, and found ourselves a Doubletree Hilton, where for an extra 20 bucks over this places price, you will be treated like royalty– even if you show up at 10:30 at night, in your Jammie’s!

Well maintained and safe. Lots of security cameras to keep you at ease!
Clean and neat room.
Rooms have half kitchen in them which is not often seen at hotel stays.
