We are a small boutique day spa offering massage services and bodywork, esthetics, yoga classes, hair and nail care, spa packages, organic skin and retail products including a unique clothing line, drinks, snacks, herbal teas and and as of September, 2013 we have a Bed & Breakfast suite on site.

History

Established in 2001.

Halcyon Spa originated in the owner Kathy Kessler’s home in 2001 and as the business grew, she decided it was time to move. Since 2009, the business has been in an old renovated mill which Kessler had renovated specifically to suit the needs of a spa. The new space doubled the opportunities for new offerings including: an infra-​red spa, paraffin dips and esthetic services, yoga classes and now a B and B in the newly renovated downstairs. We love what we do and where we do it in the beautiful little town of Augusta, MO.

Kathy started Halcyon in her home in 2001, and envisioned a place where clients could come to relax in a peaceful environment, be restored with massage and spa services, and have the opportunity to experience health and wellness with yoga, hiking and riding the Katy Trail. Halcyon now offers this to the guests with a guest room tucked in the lowest level of the spa, an excellent team of service providers to take care all of your massage and spa needs, and owner Kathy K, take pride in offer organic fresh breakfast and teaching yoga at the spa.
