Ethan was the friendliest on the line! Engaged in conversation and didn’t rush me. Cracked a joke and made my experience so enjoyable!

Never been a huge fan of Chipotle(not that we have one.) but I feel about this place as people do with Chipotle. I’m obsessed, and I crave it all the time. I’ve only really had one thing every time we’ve been there, but so what? ITSGOOD. SOGOOD. Portion sizes are great because I can ALWAYS get two meals out of it(I get the steak burrito bowl). For some people, like my hubby, the burrito will serve as one, large, very filling, meal. They charge extra for the guac and queso — as most people do. Really enjoy the queso to go with the fresh tortilla chips that come with your order. You also get a good portion of chips with your take out order. As I mentioned, I’m not a huge fan of Chipotle, so I’m not sure how the price compares. Definitely worth it for me. The food is fresh, delicious and made your way. The ambiance is laid back, and this place can definitely get filled up on weekends. Just an ode to how wonderful this food is!

This place surpasses Chipotle! Fresher ingredients and more protein. Never had a bad experience and they also offer a military discount.

Love this place, can’t mention name of competitor we had to settle for elsewhere, they are on two different levels, not to mention they offer a military discount.

One of my favorite places to eat. Don’t worry if its busy because they move pretty fast. For best experience try the Chipotle Ranch.

Beats Moes hands down. My personal favorite is the chicken quesadilla. Plus its good to support local businesses.

The burritos here are top notch, that is what has been bringing me here weekly since their opening. What brought me here to post a review was that I forgot my wallet one time. Without hesitation, they had us finish our meal as we called friends for a favor. This type of service is rare in the food industry, and it was worth my time to review this well run establishment. Rumor has it they will be opening up a new one on Walton Way, which may convert my 1 burrito a week to 2x a week. Keep doing you Diablos.

I’ve been visiting Diablos since it first open and I’ve yet to be disappointed! All of my previous visits I only limited myself to burritos. For this visit I chose the chicken quesadilla with a few fresh veggies. It was thrown on the actually grill and boy boy boy that was the absolute best chicken quesadilla I’ve ever had! Their signature queso has no other competition in this area. This is the perfect place for Bulldog fans to go and cheer up after being beat to sleep by the Tide!

Definitely the best tex-mex restaurant in the CSRA. Ingredients are always fresh and have a ton of flavor. After going here, the competitors just dont taste the same. The do not have quite as many options to add as some of the other places, such as mushrooms, but the quality of food is good enough to make up for it.

I went to Diablo’s twice during my stay in Georgia, and I was much more fond of it the second time! I purchased bowls both times — the first with tofu, then the second visit with chicken. The tofu’s good, a tad bland imo, but a great alternative for vegetarians/vegans! The chicken is tasty and has that grilled flavor I love. Every meal comes complimentary tortilla chips, which are SOGOOD. They’re thin and crispy, not your cliché Tostito chips. Large, pre-wrapped cookies are also available for purchase. :) They have a salsa bar located on the right side of the cashier for your salsa desires, ranging from mild to spicy. Lemon wedges and jalapenos slices are located at the salsa bar too. Overall, this place reminds me of Chipotle but with more options. It’s tasty, and worth trying if you’re in the area. By the way, they may be a dollar bill lying around near the soda machine ;)

Best Tex Mex! Diablos puts Chipotle to shame! I’ve eaten here many times the food is always great & very consistent. Enough topping to make each meal a little different than the last! FYI: Order the Pork!

Love the shredded pork in a bowl filled with all kinds of stuff like veggies, cheese, sour cream, corn salsa and more… they are offering brisket for a limited time — I’ll have to check it out next time!!!

After our last trip to Chipotle, which was not good-average, this has moved from almost as good as Chipotle, to better than Chipotle. The nachos with chicken or steak are delicious. The chipotle ranch is delicious and I love that they have a salsa bar. The green salsa that they have is really good. I’ve been here quite a few times and will continue to come. They also give military discount, which is nice.

Typically love diablos, but my last experience was a bit upsetting. Took the kids here, and they were quite busy as usual, but you could tell many of the employees were stressed. It was not the usual employees that are in there when I go. When we got our food, the cashier had a very bad attitude, and seemed frustrated that our order was carry out. When we finally got our order, they completely forgot to put the cookies in the kids orders, which come with it, and they were devastated! The food was delicious as usual, but a little spicier this time. I eat diablos atleast once a week, it’s a favorite spot, but the last experience wasn’t as great as all the others! I would say it’s much better than moes, besides some of the employees, and I will definitely eat here again! I love it! And it’s very reasonably priced.

I use Unilocal when we’re out of a town quite a lot, and once again I wasn’t disappointed! You guys led me straight. This place is awesome! I have missed my Freebirds in Houston and while they still top the cake in this food category, Diablo’s managed to make me feel(almost) right back home. When you walk in, you’re greeted on the wall with a bull busting through the concrete. Nice. And at the counter you’re greeted by several smiling faces. We had 20 minutes before they closed and they weren’t in the least showing it. They still had chicken going on the grill and slicing it up! They asked if we were having it for here or to-go and we mentioned we knew they were about to close and they told us to not even worry about that and to enjoy our meal. Thank you for that! You can choose from a variety of proteins to add to your burrito, nachos, quesdailla, taco(basket of three), or chili. Only one option for a tortilla(sad face) and then you proceed down a Subway-type line to choose your fillings/toppings. White rice, yellow rice, black beans, pinto beans, grilled peppers, three different types of salsas, pickled or diced jalapenos, among your other basics like lettuce and tomato. Whatever you choose comes with chips and they-are-absolutely-AWESOME! BESTTORTILLACHIPSEVER! I seriously have no idea how they do it, but they’re perfectly salted and crispy. Coke products, including cherry coke! A salsa bar with three choices. A complimentary phone charging station. And the best seat in the restaurant? A saddle, no joke. What other restaurant can you eat your dinner while sitting on a saddle?

I love Diablos. Definitely a competitor with Chipotle who I equally love. I like the fact that they have white rice as an option and lots of meat options. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. Nothing annoys me more than coming into a place and having me a bunch of kids talking amongst themselves, ignoring the customer. You won’t get any of that here. Charging stations are an awesome feature! I do with the would update their outside eating area though. The seats are a big uncomfortable. Diablos is a must when in Augusta!

One of the best southwest places if not THE best. This tops Moe’s and Chipotle by a lot. Their ingredients are much fresher and have very friendly employees. When they have the spicy guacamole it is a must try and so is their southwest ranch. When I was still in Augusta I would eat here at least once a week if not more.

For a quick Mexican meal, Diablos is a great choice. I usually get a chicken bowl with white rice and beans. You get to pick topping after that. Whatever you want, but some things are an additional charge. Everything comes with fresh and hot tortilla chips. Soft drinks and tea have serve yourself refills at no charge. The food is fresh and delicious and the line moves quickly. Give it a try!

It’s typical Tex-Mex. The menu is small. You just go down the line adding your ingredients. My favorite is the taco salad. The establishment is clean. Employees are courteous. Service is quick. The only issue I have and it’s not their fault but I don’t know how they’re going to rectify the traffic situation in this little plaza. Zaxby’s is the new restaurant to the plaza and getting out onto Wheeler Rd. traffic is a headache. It’s definitely the area to avoid at lunch and end of the day when the traffic is really high. For my Low Carb life: I always have the salad in a bowl– no rice and no beans– light on guac and sour cream.

Yum! Loved that the chips were nice and salty! I had the pork quesadilla with black beans and it was delicious. They are kind of like a sub shop in that they make your items in front of you and you can add the fresh ingredients as you go down the line. Also had an order of Nachos. The guy making the food was helpful in answering my questions. The girl manning the register when I went back to ask for a box was less than cheerful. :( It was fun to try something new and different, everything was good and I’d certainly go back.
