History

Established in 2013.

After moving to and living in Oklahoma City for a year, owners Lex and Tammy Jones were looking to make a change. Then a friend invited them to a local «Paint & Sip» event. They were hooked! After doing some market area research, they decided to move back home to the Augusta, GA/​Columbia, SC area and start Corks & Canvas.

«The concept was something most people in this area had never heard of before, so we knew we had our work cut out for us. But we also knew we had a decision to make. It was either work for someone else, or start a business of our own. So here we are»!

With Tammy’s 30+ years of business management & accounting experience and Lex’s 30+ years of business management & computer programming experience, they felt like they had the necessary skills needed to make this business succeed.
