History

Established in 2006.

Three story, interior corridor hotel opened in 2006. Closed for renovations and upgrades in Q3, 2014, our hotel reopened in ²⁄₂₀₁₅ with an all new, fresh look in our lobby, breakfast room and guest rooms. Stop by, stay awhile and join us for a complimentary full hot breakfast in the morning.

Owner and general manager since 2006 and a Certified Hotel Administrator/​CHA and accountant. Our Baymont Inn & Suites/​Augusta Riverwatch was named ‘Best of Baymont’ for 2008, 2010 and 2012/​2013, and one of our staff members was awarded the Baymont Franchise System’s ‘Hero of Hospitality’ in 2010. Another staff member was named Baymont Franchise System’s ‘Noteworthy Neighbor’ for 2012. Two other housekeeping staff members were named «Roomkeeper of the Year’ (division 1) by the Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association in 2010 and 2011. We are proud of our staff!
