Baldinos Giant Jersey Subs

Ok so this is the worst baldinos I have ever been to. The place is dirty and there is trash and old tickets all over the floor. The cashier didn’t k ow what she was doing and tried to charge me for a whole sandwich when I only ordered a half. If I didn’t say anything I would have been charged an additional $ 5. To make things worse, she didn’t know how to void the sale. The manager is a «larger» gentleman who looked very unkept and was wearing a stained sweat suit. He was behind the counter blowing his nose and I didn’t see him wash his hands. Thoroughly grossed out and will not be coming back.

I own a few locations of the largest sub franchise in the world in another state. I discovered Baldinos in a gas station on a family visit to Richmond Hill, Ga. I have since made a point to go to Augusta, Ga. to specifically go to Baldinos!!! All I can say is, I make a specific trip to go get some Baldinos!!! Enough said…
Not sure if they ever had bologna, but that would be such an awesome addition to some of these subs and the menu in general. I look forward to my next trip!!!

Best sub in Augusta period. Although the décor isn’t much to admire, the quality makes up the difference. You’ll be glad you gave this place a shot.

I was in the restaurant from 7:20 — 7:52 today. I kind of blame myself for the time, because I was people watching on Facebook and playing Candy Soda Crush… and wasn’t paying attention. But the time I noticed in the restaurant was the obvious tension between the two cashiers… and the fact that there were two small children playing behind the counter… with very long hair… playing near the food… I left without my food… I didn’t want it, and as mad as I was, I would have caused a scene. Never again… and this was my treat night for my diet. As well as my favorite sub place… I’ve referred so many people to y’all over the years… It was my mema’s fave too. It’s corny to say that we enjoyed our Wednesday lunches during my summers with her as a child… Oh well… Call me corny. Y’all were authentic Jersey subs… but today has shown me that I may have outgrown you… Or y’all have changed with the times. either way… Never again.

I always visit this spot in Augusta. The portions are generous and the bread is fresh and hearty. While the décor is beyond dated, the 40 year old eatery is a favorite. Grab the Italian Battalion.

First time here. Got an Italian style sub. Everything on it. The staff very knowledgeable of their food. And the food was fantastic!!! I’ll be back!!!

The prices are good for the daily special, however if you are looking for quality deli meat, this is not the place for you.
We would not go to this place again.

I specifically asked the guy working there if he put banana peppers on my sub (because they didn’t do so the last time, even though I specifically asked for them). He blatantly lied to my face and said yes. I get home and they’re not on my sub. I won’t be patronizing your business anymore.

Not a bad place to grab a sub IMHO. When you walk in it has a nice college type vibe to it. I guess with it being right down the road from GRU, that’s not a bad thing. The only thing that was a little unsettling, was that the woman making my sandwich made no attempt at keeping the mayonnaise that was ALL over her gloves from getting ALL over my sandwich. The top of my bread was literally caked with mayo. But, the sandwich was very good so I guess I can’t look to harshly at that. I guess if you’re looking for a sandwich/​sub place, and you’re sick of Subway or Blimpes, this would be a good place to try.

Ok, I made it back here to try their food again and I can say that I give them another star. There are things that I can tweak next time to make my meal a lot better. First off the prices for what you are getting are great. The subs are fairly cheap and pretty huge for a half and a whole sub. Their bread along is bigger than all the sub places I normally frequent. The bread has a great flavor as well. I’m a huge bread eater and it can’t get better than that. All the subs come with the standard ingredients such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and etc. You can omit as many things as you want. I feel they put way too much lettuce on the sandwich and not enough meat. There was a very thin layer of meat. It didn’t match the size of the bread at all and it seemed like the meat was thinly sliced as well so you really couldn’t get a great amount of flavor from the meat. I will get extra meat next time and light lettuce to ensure I get maximum flavor from the sub. Another thing that bothered me was that the employee was mopping the whole restaurant while they had a steadily flow of customers. This was kind of ruining the dining experience. But at least there was no stench in here like last time I was there. So now I know exactly how to have my sub made to ensure I get the most flavor from my meal.

This is a great sub place. Unlike the chain sub places, they hand slice the deli meats to order and the bread is fresh baked. A great value and great selection of cold and hot subs!

Firstly the meat portions are paper thin and there Is no friendly service in there. Your more a annoyance than a customer. I had a sub that was made improperly like everything was added to it and I only wanted lettuce and tomato. I called from my home thirty miles away and they stated were sorry and we will give you a free replacement and placed my number on a board. I called back and the lady that took my order stated no your only supposed to get a foot long not a family sub. I stated I was promised a family 15 by I think her name was Belinda and they put me on hold and did not say anything about calling a man named Dennis. Well 5 minutes went by and then she came back after the long hold and said no he could not honor that. Well good luck in the future Baldino’s at the wirightsboro rd location in Augusta Ga. YOU WILL NEED IT!!!

Perfect for a quick cheap meal. Typical sub shop type choices.
