History

Established in 1977.

Howard’s Gulf Service was established April 1, 1977. Originally offering fuel and auto repairs up until around the year 2005 when EPA guidelines became stricter causing them to remove their fuel station and focus solely on automotive repair and maintenance. It was a blessing in disguise. Howard’s Gulf Service offers old school service to all customers along with quality parts & an honest approach to business.

Manager

Brian has been working for his Uncle for over 20 years now and has been running the daily operations for the past 8 years now. Here’s some info about Howard and our family run operation.

Howard is a native of New Jersey having grown up in Laurel Springs with his mother and older brother, Lloyd. Howard is a veteran having served in Germany during the Vietnam war after leaving the service he decided to take his saving and partner up with another gentleman who had an established auto repair shop in Stratford. The partnership did not last very long simply because Howard wanted to make his mark and eventually found an established business to take over in Audubon owned and operated by Allen Starrett.
