Wireless EMT

My memory card broke off inside of my cell phone and I brought it here to have the memory card removed. It was broken in half, with part of it unable to be removed without disassembling the phone. When I asked them to look at my phone, I explained that I needed them to see if they could remove the other half of the memory card because I couldn’t reach it myself and i didn’t want to lose the pictures if I could help it. I found a company who said they could try to retrieve the pics off memory card if I provided the second half. So he said they would remove it, and call me. Today I went to pick up the phone (after receiving a call that it was all set) and was told the memory card was disposed of. The guy also implied it was MY fault that he threw it out, because I «should have made sure» that he knew I wanted it back. That was the entire reason I went here! I didn’t make a big deal out of it, but he still acted like I was the jerk, even though they disposed of property which didn’t belong to them. Very unhappy, just no common sense. I definitely told him I wanted the card back.
