Established in 1991.

The West & Company team is made up of exceptional individuals in the jewelry industry. JoAnne Nytch, David’s partner and wife has is respected though out the industry as a buyer of fine jewelry with a eye for quality and value. Martha Propper, who works with David, is a highly skilled designer and goldsmith with over 20 years experience in the

jewelry business.

Additionally, we have several other highly experienced professionals who delight in the opportunity to make your every jewelry purchase special.

Meet the Business Owner

David West N.

Business Owner

David West Nytch has over thirty five years of experience in designing and manufacturing fine jewelry. In August of 1982, David co-​founded a large jewelry manufacturing company that continues to supply to hundreds of retailers today.

Wanting to take his expertise in designing and crafting jewelry to a more personal level, he founded West and Company Jewelers. The original tiny store on E. Main Street in the village of Webster, NY. has grown into a business with a nationwide client base.

David attended the Rhode Island School of Design and the Rochester Institute of Technology receiving his Bachelors in Fine Arts from the School of American Craftsmen in May of 1983. David also received his Gemology degree through Gemological Institute of America in 1993. To bring his knowledge to the highest Gemological level, David acquired his Certified Gemologist Appraiser title through the American Gem Society in the year 2000.
