I called them to schedule a appointment. First time the lady said she was driving and was told she will call me back. No call back so I called back the next day. She had a real attitude once I told her I have a groupon. Once I told her I had a Lexus she said that would be extra and was annoyed when I asked why. When I asked how much extra she seemed even more irritated. Told me I can return the groupon. I gave up and told her thanks for her help and hung up. Called groupon and canceled.

The guy is funny, but the old lady is not that professional. Go to dealer xpress instead because they are more professional, and their lobby is an neat lobby instead of a living room with dogs running around. They charge you extra for tint that is less than legal limit.

Had a wonderful experience with this company. They were fast and so accommodating to my son and me. Immediately got started after figuring out what tint was perfect for me. I was offered coffee and tv while waiting in their cozy waiting room. My son is 18 mos and had a blast with their friendly doggies. They were so patient and personable. Would definitely go here again. Thank you guys for an awesome experience!

I’ve been here twice to get my parents and husbands window tint. The groupon has been really helpful for my husbands BMW it was extra because of a luxury car. They have done a great job with both cars. Easy appointment scheduling and great service ! (:

ATTENTION GROUPON CUSTOMERS!
Read the Unilocal reviews before making purchase. I was misguided by reading only the Groupon reviews of this place. After purchasing and checking Unilocal and Facebook reviews I was too scared to take my car here. Tried calling to schedule and the customer service alone was enough for me to demand grouping reimburse me or credit me to take business elsewhere. There is a reason this is the cheapest window tinting service on Groupon. Warranty not included, plus a $ 30 «luxury» car fee plus sales tax.

These people are really nice! I came in to get a tint and called in ahead of time to bump up my appointment, not a problem for them. I wasn’t really sure what I was expecting but it was more of a ma and pa type of feel. Took about two hours and I was chatting with the owner (hilarious lady by the way).
The tint job looks good so far, pretty pleased with getting the groupon for this place!

We had a bit of trouble at the beginning of the day. I had an apt at 9am I got there at 8:50 and when 9:10 came around the doors were still locked. I called the Tint Xxperts phone number and got ahold of a lady I didn’t even ask for her name. She let me know that the guy who was supposed to work called in sick and she would find someone else to come do the job and call me back. I received her call back almost immediately and she let me know she had someone who could do it in auburn (15 min away). If I had a lot of plans this day I probably wouldn’t have rated 5 stars but I didn’t have any plans and I’m happy with the tint. They upgraded my tint and gave me a great deal on top of that so there was no way I could be unhappy. The workers at the spot in auburn were really friendly and I appreciate the guy coming in when he was off to do the job. He was friendly as well when most people would have a little attitude that they had to come in when they were off. So yea in the end I’m very happy with this company and I love the job they did on my Windows.

I can only assume the 5 star ratings are from friends and/​or family members. The customer service here is unbelievably laughable. It’s like something Comcast would point to in defense of their customer service. Fuck Comcast too.
Anyways, this isn’t about them… back to Tina, or Gina, or whatever the hell this lady cares to be called. She clearly doesn’t give a damn about treating customers well, just about squeezing every dollar she can get out of you. I went in to ask about the Groupon offer and she replied with «it’d be $ 150 if you didn’t just pull up in an Infinity, $ 30 fee for luxury vehicles». Taken back a little I retorted with «well it’s not luxury glass…». She didn’t like that very much and returned to the soap opera she was watching.
That’s when some dumb shit dog started humping my foot. I asked her what brands they carry and she says «what does that matter? It’s tint, it’s gonna make your windows darker.»
That’s when the power went out in the building and she says «damnit not again» as I hear her tinter in the back stumbling over himself in the pitch dark… probably razor blading someone’s luxury steering wheel now that I see past reviews of this mockery of a business. I laughed and walked out.

Over the last 14 years I’ve purchased 5 new vehicles and have used the Auburn location to tint the windows on all of them. The quality of the tinting has been exceptional every time. I’ve just purchased another new vehicle and will be taking it back to these guys because of the consistent quality. The office has always looked a little cuckoo and the owners are a little eccentric but have always been nice. They’ve had the same window tint technician for years probably why the quality has always been so consistent.

I have been using Tint XXperts for years. I have had at least a dozen cars tinted there as well as the windows on my commercial building. Always great service, always great prices and ALWAYS outstanding tint!
The staff is very knowledgeable and will help you make a decision you wont be disappointed with!

Worked with the Tint Xxperts team on an unusual project (tinting office building windows).
I’ve already written them a review for their Renton location, but wanted to take the time to write one for both — that’s how awesome they’ve been work with!
Here’s the review I originally wrote:
I had a chance to meet Tina and her team and they are awesome! Very personable, easy going, and absolutely punctual. Not to mention fantastic quality of work. They were very easy going, and willing to work with me to figure out exactly what I needed.
I heard about Tint Xxperts through a personal friend who had every one of his cars tinted by them, and had only good things to say about them.
My needs were actually rather unusual — I needed to get my office windows tinted because being an older building, the windows weren’t keeping any of the heat out. I’m sure tinting commercial or residential windows isn’t something they normally do, but they were willing to meet with us to get it figured out.
Their guys have been working on our office after hours, and have been very friendly, reliable and accountable.
I would recommend them for anyone looking for any tint work.

I got the Groupon deal and call first the # to set up an appointment. We are scheduled next week but got a call from Gina that they have available spot for today, which is a week earlier. We arrived in the office and it has been attended right away. We are told that tinting will take 2 – 3 hours but it was completed in one hour. Gina, the owner is friendly and offered us a free glass cleaner. Great tinting service. We recommend and will use them for our other vehicles.

Piss poor service. Great window tinting. I know weird combo right? Here’s the story:
I go to my brothers house and he is getting his wife’s BMW windows tinted and he picks this place. He calls here and the lady asks him what kind of car he has 3 times. He finally says, «can you please write my car model down, I’ve said it to you 3 times now.» She says there is an 11:30am spot tomorrow to get his car scheduled in so he makes that appointment. He takes it in the next day and says he is here to drop off his car for the tinting appointment. The owner lady says there is no appointment for a BMW at 11:30am, My brother was confused because apparently this «owner» just schedules in people whenever she wants and doesn’t really consider that people will have to wait for the next person to be done. NO scheduling consideration at all, just says «come in tomorrow» and I guess her theory is customers are expected to just sit and wait for her awesome tinting service. We became suspect why is this lady the owner of this business and how is it still a float with the way she is running the place. Yes I was with him, and we see that her desk is piled with random papers, no rhyme or reason to what is in those paper piles. This desk would be a prime set piece for the show Hoarders. But in all seriousness I can only guess the lady might be in the early stages of dementia or Alzheimer, I don’t know.
My brother gave the tint installer guy his Groupon coupon for a discount. This is the only reason he came here in the first place. Anyways, he just decides to leave his car there to pick up in the evening since he works from home. Later that evening my sister in law goes down there to ask for her car and the lady says that the price is normal price. She says ‘but we gave you the Groupon to the tint installer’ who now cannot find it anywhere. So now my sister is pissed off and tells the lady that everything customer service wise is unprofessional and looks at her messy desk and says «oh that explains it all.» The lady gets infuriated and says get out of my office before I call the cops. Really call the cops because someone calls you out on unprofessionalism? The bill was settled and they took off. Here is the ironic thing. The tint job was done quite well and I was along to check out the quality since I have gotten tint a number of times for my past cars and I know what to look for. She got max legal tint darkness just before limo tint and it was a decent job. I really don’t know what else to say except of course we are never going back there for any kind of services. And yes I am taking the time in writing this review because of the lady’s lack of business aptitude and personal respect for her customers. But at least the job was done and was done ok and the car was not stolen and is still intact and not spit on. Sometimes you just have to look at how much worse it could have been and be appreciative about that.

If only I can give no stars… I took my 2012 Lexus isF to get tints put on in December it as I just purchased it a few months ago prior and never got around to doing it. I found a great deal on groupon which I wish I would have just paid full price at Lexus to do it. I called to set up a schedule. The lady that schedules your appointment Gina, is also the owner. Very unorganized with setting appointments, not knowing when she would be able to get me in. And called me after I set one up for 10am to come in at 12pm. That was not the issue. I had seen reviews about the unorganized appointment but I decided to try out the tint job anyway giving them the benefit of the doubt. This is my first review ever. I took my car in, the gentlemen that worked on my car J. R told me since it’s a specialty car that I’d have to pay an extra $ 30 plus taxes on top of groupon voucher. I didn’t mind as I know I’m still getting a great deal. I had them put on 18% tint as they didn’t have 20%. Came back around 3pm to pick up the car. First look the tint looks great! It was what I was hoping for. As I am leaving the lot I found that my steering wheel was gashed! About 6inches long… :(I notified my boyfriend as he was driving my other car. We immediately turned around and spoke with the other gentleman there named Dave. Dave was awesome. He seemed like the only one that cared. He got us in touch with Gina the owner who is in North Dakota or something… She really didn’t want to help and kept saying that it’s not their policy for any of the tinters to get inside the car. We have pictures of them working inside the car… Found razor blades on the floor of the garage. We were trying to give her a chance to make it right and she had the nerves to accuse me of saying that I caused the damage with my ring or something and took the opportunity of getting the tints done to blame it on the shop. Honestly the car was pretty much brand new. Had 9k on it and it is the most expensive car I had ever bought so i treat it like a baby! Got a quote from Lexus for a new steering wheel and it’s $ 1158+tax and labor. If it was a cheap fix I would not be complaining as much. The gentleman Dave also mentioned that if it was a inexpensive cost to fix/​replace she may have done it as mistakes do happen. I just wished that Gina would have at least offered to cover part of the damage if not all… I tried to work things out but am now taking her to small claims court. Last groupon I will buy for car services! Will update if anything changes…

I just called these guys — not sure if it were RENTON or AUBURN. But it didn’t seem they know there tint. First, I asked them about their GROUPON offer which was a lower end tint (obviously). But then I wanted to see what other brands they carried — So I asked about 3M tint, which the receptionist told me that the 3M brand is not known for tint (REALLY?! She even insisted that most tint shops don’t carry them). Fine, that’s okay; I’ll ask her about Pinnacle. She responds and says that she has never even heard of that brand. Wow! I just mentioned two very widely used tint brands, and it sounded like these brands were Bigfoot and the Lochness Monster. At least they carried Huper Optik, but she didn’t know which series they carried. She just told me to come in. You guys just lost a potential customer .

The end result looks good but the process of getting it done could be much better. First, I made an appointment for 12:30 PM and was told that the job would be done within 90 minutes since it was a small car. I planned to hang around the area because I had other appointments later in the afternoon. When I arrived, I was told my car wouldn’t be done until 5:00 PM or possibly the next day due to the volume of cars that came in that morning. Had to have my wife drive 45 minutes to get me and then turn around and take me back. So, don’t try to make an appointment because it doesn’t mean anything to them. It’s first come, first served. The other gripe is the limited selection of tint film. The choice at the time was either very light (almost the same as factory tint) or very dark (obviously illegal). There were out of shades between and were short of material — my back window is now a darker tint than the side windows. To summarize, final product was good but this is not what I’d call a professional service.

I honestly have never written a review before, but I am so enraged that I must write one!
I scheduled for an appointment on a Saturday at 2:30pm. I showed up at 2:35pm and the «tinter» decided to help the guy who came before me (which happened to be his 3:00pm). He told that he has to do the Civic then the 3:00pm appointment and then he can help me… He said that it would be done by 7:00pm.
As I chose my tint (I chose an illegal tint), he told me there is an extra $ 30 charge and will not budge from it. I had already prearranged a price with the owner, «the lady,» and immediately called the lady to tell the tinter the correct price.
After the debate over the price, I left to do my business. The tinter called me at 6:30pm and asked if I could come tomorrow. I said I could because I live 50 mins away and I wouldnt be able to have anyone to take me. He said «Okay, if I get it done then it would be late. Probably done by 8:30pm.» I said OKAY! Then he called me back and asked once again for me to pick it up tomorrow morning. He said «I have my own needs too. I need to eat and go home to my family. Plus I have work tomorrow…»
Fed up with all of the BS, I asked him if he has done any work yet and he said «Im getting started.» So I went to pick up my car, only to find that he has done absolutely NOTHING within the 6 hours that he had.
Why am I enraged?
1) They scheduled a 2:30pm and a 3:00pm appointment when each car takes 2 – 3 hours.
2) The tinter gave me attitude as I tried to accommodate him
3) Nothing was done in 6 hours after I dropped off the car
4) «The lady» was unorganized
With such bad customer service, I picked up by car and went to Midnight Window Tinting and paid $ 280 for a job well done with great customer service.

So after some back and forth on the issue, I was finally able to get my car tinted correctly. Apparently, the guy who originally did mine was let go due to the exact reason I had an issue with mine: bubbling. Well I brought it back in and the owner took care of it and made it look like it is supposed to.
All in all, not the greatest experience but I am glad that the owner took care of it for me.

I took my mom’s car in here to get it tinted. The installer (this big guy) was super nice and they did the job in a timely manner. She loved the tint and so did I… I got a really good deal, too. To be honest, I don’t think I could have found a better place for the price and quality we received. It’s about a month later and the tint on her car looks brand new.

Don’t go here! I’ve taken 4 cars here & this time was awful. The Owner is difficult to deal with. She is not organized or very bright. My 1 week old car’s window rubber was cut & it took her 2 months to order the part. Then I found out it sat at the Ford dealership to be picked up for 3 weeks. In the mean time she told me my tint on the car (from 8 years ago) would be covered under warranty. Long story short, the tint manufacturer was out of business & she tried to back out of the warranty. Luckily the installer went to bat for me & re-​did the tint. This morning she yelled & hung up on me regarding the rubber part. She knows I’m 37 weeks pregnant w/​decreasing time to deal with this. If you have time to call her at least 3 times to make an appointment then it’s the place for you!
