This store is wonderful! A lot of stores like this are full of flea market finds marked up to some ridiculous price, not The Painted Peacock. The items are all of very high quality, are carefully prepared, and very reasonably priced. The also have a very wide range of items, from tiny trinkets to furniture and wonderfully unique electric lamps.

You will have to look hard to find a store as unique as this one. Run by a couple of young local gals, the store is full of hand crafted and lovingly restored vintage furniture and home décor pieces by local artisans. If you like Pinterest, Etsy, quirky and fun repurposed items, «shabby chic» pieces, as well as nicely restored antiques, you will love this place. Everything is beautifully done and affordable. Definitely worth a look, especially if you are looking for an alternative to foreign mass produced chain store junk. I found the perfect coffee table and the owners repainted part of it to better fit my antique furniture. Happy hunting!
