Great food. Fast and cheap. Better than Taco Bell.

This is the best taco stand-like place around. I mean what do you expect when your food arrives within a couple of minutes? The service is good, the food is tasty, and you can drive through or dine in. And, can you name a taco place that also has shakes? Bonus! We have enjoyed it for many years and will return many years to come.

First time a Taco Tree although I’ve passed it dozens of times. I was 7 pm on a Tuesday and the drive thru was packed… must be good. This is easy no frills mexican take out not fancy. I got the Veggie burrito and bean tostada. Both were yummy and the employees were friendly and handled the line fast. I will come back

I tried Taco Tree again… after a year ago having the worst food ever… Once again I am disappointed cold burritos, no sauce after being asked lf I would like hot or mild. Just beyond bad. Save your cash or go to In and Out. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The customer service is not very good or friendly at this Taco Tree. I can only remember one employee being courtesy . The food is just okay. The 49 location is better. Or better yet try one of great mexican restaurant in Auburn if you are not in A hurry.

If you’re a big fan of Taco Bell, this place should be right up your alley. The line of cars for this place was down the street, so I(not knowing any food places is Auburn) thought they might be on to something. But no such luck, this place is possibly even less authentic than its more generic fast food brothers. The food wasn’t bad, just extremely bland and boring; the sort of «Mexican» food that, well, just isn’t. The only plus is that the food is VERY cheap, everything except the large taco salad being under five dollars. It’s that cheap for a good reason though.

I love the food, but the customer service really sucks. I even herd the manager call one of her employees a jerk! It’s no wonder everyone looks so miserable working their. As good as the food is I probably will not go back. I walked in to order and I’ve done this several times and for some reason a to go order doesn’t warrant a bag. Every time I have to ask and the bag is thrown on the counter. I’m done with Taco Tree and they’re bad service.

I love taco tree so much! I go here almost every time I go to Auburn. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, other than nacho supreme is my favorite. This place is a staple for all people who live in Auburn or know about this place

I love everything about this small little hole in the wall. It’s a small little local taco shop that reminds me of Taco Bell, but so much better and quite a bit more authentic than Taco Bell. The meat is actually seasoned ground beef and is delicious. The packets of hot sauce that they offer is amazing with the food. The boyfriend’s favorite item here are the super nachos, drizzled with creamy nacho cheese, with meat of your choice, and pico de gallo on top. For me, nothing beats the crunchy beef tacos. They load the meat, they load the lettuce, and then load the cheese. Those crunchy tacos are always overflowing and delicious! The little restaurant gets a bit crazy and dirty on days the kids get off school early and they come by groups. The service is just average. But then again, I come for the well-priced food.

Mmmm, Taco Tree. I miss this place like crazy when I’m living in Food Exile(aka Rexburg, Idaho). The people who work here are rather surly and the building is somewhat rundown, but in a weird way, that adds to its charm. I’ve been to the other Taco Tree up the highway, and it loses some of its splendor when the food is served to you in a non-dilapidated building by someone who looks like they don’t entirely hate their life. It sounds like I’m kidding, and I kind of am, but not really. Their food is particularly perfect when you’re having one of those weird late-night cravings where you want something to eat and the only thing you can think of that’s open is Taco Bell or a 24-hour McDonalds. The next time one of those urges hits, go to Taco Tree and relish in its glory. Make sure to ask for«lots» of mild sauce and positively DROWN your meal in said sauce. It makes the culinary experience(and it will be an experience, trust me) that much better.

Simple and to the point. American homestyle Mexican food without the Guacamole. If you go with that in your head, is the best!!!

Taco Tree never fails to satisfy! I started eating at this Taco Tree as a PHS student and I still love coming here with my family. Today my son and I were in Auburn and my son was so excited when I suggested that we stop in for lunch. Keep up the good work!

I miss you, Taco Tree. That beef in your burritos and tacos is beyond compare. I like the other location better, even though it’s farther up the highway, because staff at this location, including management have always been moody. I was grunted at once when I asked for a refill. Really? And can we talk about the booths? Not fat person approved. My basoomas sit on the table when I visit.

The food is basic fast food. It’s inexpensive and the taste flavors are simple. My faves are the tacos and bun less tacos. I occasionally get a yearning for a bun less taco. For those of you unfamiliar with a bun less taco, it’s loose ground beef placed in a white bread hamburger bun with shredded lettuce(with or without cheese). For mid westerners, it’s similar to a loose meat sandwich.
