Very rude people there and asking for help is like ask them to give you the world stay away

They kept pushing us cars that were out of our budget. We told them we were in the area hitting different dealerships and they were friendly at first. They pushed us into test driving and coming inside to «talk numbers». we saw one car we liked and talked with them about how much it would be. it was a little out of budget but doable. when we said we still wanted to look around the entire demeanor changed.
the guy was like «I did ALL this work just for you, I called X, Y, and Z places and crunched all the numbers.»
we were like «yes and we appreciate that, thank you, but we need to explore our options»
all the sudden the manager comes over and is like «I was told you guys were ready to buy TO-​DAY and ready to drive out of here. What do I need to do to sell you this car right now.» etc etc etc REALLY pushing us and being super rude.
they made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience for them to deal with us. Horrible attitudes, will never go back.

I do not recommend anyone ever coming here to get a car and here are my reasons as to why:
1. The car on their website was not as advertised. (They told me that they had someone else come in to post cars for their website.)
2. They were not flexible with their prices. (They claimed their price was low, but that was because after 4+ months, no body would buy a car at 7900. I actually saw it drop down to 5900 when I decided to get it. Not only would they not negotiate, they didn’t acknowledged my offer, they just took my trade-​in, and my lender’s discount and called it a negotiation. I would have fought harder, but we really needed a car.)
3. They have horrible customer service. (Now I’m not saying they were rude, impatient, or indecent. They just didn’t know how to deal with customers, they didn’t know how to make me feel valued when I’m purchasing their vehicle.)
4. They don’t make you feel like you’re leaving with a new car. (This, to me, is important when selling a pre-​owned car. When you sell a car the had a previous owner, please, pretty please, wash, vacuum, and top off all fluids, especially the gas.)
Do not come here unless you are an expert negotiator with a tight budget and knows how to deal with used car salesman.

I don’t even want to give this place one star. What a joke of a dealership. I bought a car from this place mind you I was 7 months pregnant and needing a safer car to accommodate a child. 2 weeks after I got the car the engine was completely shot! I went back to the dealership and they told me I was sol and if I had a problem I needed to take it up with attorney general. Worst experience I have ever had!

So far so good, I got offered 500 for my accord I was driving before, which is way more than its worth. «Izzy» let me drive and compare rates of multiple cars I couldn’t decide between. In the end, they worked around my needs and found me a 09 mazda at a low rate.

I recently bought a car from these guys. I had a hard time deciding on a rating. Let me explain:
The bad: The car I bought had a bum battery. They knew it had a bum battery because I noticed that the car was running the whole time I was there. They knew it wouldn’t start if I turned it off. I didn’t notice this until after I had bought the thing. I turned it off while I moved my things from my old car, then when I tried to start it up — completely dead. At this point I was furious and very nervous that they would just tell me ‘tough luck’. This brings me to the good.
The Good: Upon me freaking out at them for having sold me a car with a bum battery, they promptly apologized, drove me down to a hardware store, bought me a brand new battery and filled my car with gas. After this debacle, I had the car checked out by a mechanic who found a few minor problems. Sunset paid for the repairs, and seemed to actually care that I felt I had gotten a good deal.
I would say that this place is fine *if* you don’t mind being a little bossy and assertive, otherwise, you might want to stay away.

What a joke of a dealership. I found a van I wanted, we settled on a price and was set to pick it up the following day after it passed a mechanic inspection. I set everything up with the mechanic and Sunset was supposed to take the van the entire 10 blocks to the mechanic for me. After two days of me calling and the mechanic calling, Sunset was unable to complete this little task. Now why wouldn’t a dealership take a car to a mechanic I wonder? Could it be they didn’t want me to really find out what’s wrong with it?
To make matters worse, my salesman Darrin, calls me and says they took this car back to auction because it had so many issues. Well it’s now 2 weeks later and this car is still on Craigslist and on their lot!
Do not trust DARRIN or any other person in this company.
This was the worst experience I’ve had with a car dealership before and I will never do business with these guys again.

Several days ago we took notice of a motorcycle for sale on Craigslist (Craigslist — need we even say more?). Here’s the ad:

Turns out this is a car dealership in Auburn, Washington, called «Sunset Cars». No particular problem there, except that we have a bit of a bad taste in our mouths from used car dealerships over the years, but, what the heck, they can’t ALL be bad, so we’ll deal with them honorably and see how it goes.
We dealt with Darin for several days by email, then decided to make the TREK down to Auburn to look at the bike and probably buy it on the spot. We went with helmets and cash. Darin wanted a call before we left, to make sure he’d be there, so we did call him and we set up a time, and even though traffic was beyond horrific we showed up 45 minutes later, which was exactly on time. We went in and asked for Darin, but of course Darin wasn’t there. Strike one.
We then took a cursory look at the bike. It was represented as being in «amazing» condition. In fact, it was in «average» condition. Lots of little bumps and scrapes, but it didn’t appear the bike had actually been down. The chain was so loose as to be unridable, so we resigned ourselves to having to tighten it before the bike could even be test-​rode. We went in to talk with «DJ», who said he was Darin’s boss and could take Darin’s place. We wanted to nail down the specifics of the deal before taking the time to tighten the chain and do a test drive. Unfortunately, we found DJ to be an obnoxious, condescending jackass. Sorry for the adjectives, but that’s how he came across to us. By the third sentence out of his mouth I hated the guy. By the fifth sentence my partner hated the guy. But we were there, and we figured we’d just try to forge on through the process and get the transaction done. We had been looking at other bikes of the same model and year for from $ 1200 to $ 1800, so DJ’s price of $ 2200 on this bike was way high (note his ad that bills it as a «ridiculous» price. In fact it WAS a ridiculous price — ridiculously high). We were willing to go with it because the mileage was low, and because when you deal with a dealership, you tend to have more recourse than when buying from a private party if something goes wrong.
Finally, I was ready to commit to the sale and I was ready to do the test ride. My partner came in at that exact moment and revealed that the front fork seals were blown — not merely leaking, but totally blown out and the bike was sitting in a pool of hydraulic fluid. This bike should have never been put on the showroom floor like that, nor should anyone be allowed to test ride a bike in that condition. But being the typical used car hacks that these guys apparently were, they appeared clueless to these kinds of things. At this point it was clear that there would be a delay of at least several days to get the fork seals replaced before it could even be test-​ridden. But before we could even inquire as to how long it would take the dealership to get around to that, DJ piped up and blurted out, «You realize that we won’t fix that. We won’t come down even a dollar on the bike, not at this price.» I took about four seconds to digest that before answering. After all, the bike was overpriced as it was, it was not as represented, it couldn’t even be test ridden, and here’s this obnoxious jackass blurting forth that they weren’t about to make the bike ridable or even merchantable for the advertised price. I replied, simply, that we were done, and we headed for the main doors. DJ then jumped to his office door and stated that, well, okay, okay, they WOULD make the bike ridable and repair the fork seals. But by that time we had both had enough of the sour attitude and neither of us would ever do business with ANY company that would consider, even for a micro-​second, not making a vehicle right before it went out the door. No one should ever, ever do business with hacks like that. I explained, again, that we were just simply DONE here, and started heading for the door again. But again DJ
