Subway

Closed 2 hours before posted closing time without any notice of an early closing. Ignored our knocks on the locked door when asking for an explanation. Terrible customer service. We will find a new Subway location to spend our money at.

Wow, another Subway that doesn’t have a «public» restroom, even for paying customers. we ordered sandwiches anyway, in spite of no restroom and the owner being completely rude and demeaning to his teenage female employees.

This subway is way better than it used to be. Good food, polite staff and a clean store. What more could you ask for from a subway? The previous reviews were about employees that are no longer there, so give them another chance and see for yourself that this store is worth a visit.

Avoid this place. Good sandwiches but the staff (especially the big guy) is super rude.
By far the worst subway ever!

Food was typical of Subway, but cranky help and no bathrooms!

The owner of this place is HORRENDOUS. I ordered a $ 5 footlong and he charged me $ 7.50 for it. When I mentioned it to him he argued with me and claimed that the particular sandwich I ordered was not included in the $ 5 promotion. I informed him that I had recently ordered the same exact sandwich at 3 other locations and was charged $ 5 each time, he called me a LIAR! He was extremely short and rude and raised his voice at me. I informed him that I would not be returning to his store ever. I went and contacted Subway Corporate who confirmed that the sandwich I ordered was indeed supposed to be $ 5. I tried to call the owner and he refused to take my phone call. He should be shut down. Do not EVER go to this store!

I used to love this Subway. They always made great sandwiches, and the staff was so friendly. While the sandwiches are still fine, the new staff is cold and rude. In my last several visits I have not received a single smile, how are you, or any sign that good customer service is of importance to their business. While there are a few employees who are great, I seem to have not been able to catch them there, leaving the impression that the majority are rude. Having worked in customer service myself, and in the food industry, I understand the stress of the job. However, I know that even on my hardest day I smiled and made every customer’s experience the best possible. The coldness, rudeness, and lack of professionalism of the majority of the employees here will definitely keep me from coming back.

Funny story about this place. On the way to Squaw Valley for a fun day in the snow, we decided to grab some sandwiches for lunch at this place. I walked in and placed an order for 3 sandwiches. 2 Asian gals walked in next to me and waited as the only person behind the counter made my sandwiches. Couple minutes pass by and a big group of Caltran workers come in and chat it up with said sandwich maker, and she proceeds to start their order. As I walk out with my sandwich order, I hear the little Asian gal say «Excuse me, you kinda skipped me and took the order for guys behind me…» She seemed kinda pissed. I guess the sandwich girl just assumed the only 3 Asian people in all of Auburn must be together and since I ordered 3 sandwiches… I must have gotten them for the other two gals.
