For almost 25 years, Steamex has provided personalized, quality residential and commercial cleaning services. We clean carpets and area rugs, tile and grout, upholstery and vehicle interiors, and other fabric surfaces. The owner, Rylan Herring, performs all of the services himself, working to remove every spot and stain he comes across.

History

Established in 1987.

Beginning as a two-​man operation in 1987, Steamex quickly grew to several crews running multiple vans. We then expanded into apartment painting and general cleaning to provide a complete turnkey service. We dabbled in carpet sales and installation, carpet repairs, and maid services. We also specialized in water damage restoration services for a time. Then stepped back to look at where we really wanted to be. We scaled down to one man and one van to offer the highest quality cleaning available. Cleaning. That’s all we do, and we’re really good at it. How else could we offer a money-​back guarantee?

Rylan has been cleaning with Steamex since 1987, attending several technician cleaning courses along the way. His expertise extends far beyond cleaning, but that’s really his specialty. His wife, Karen, helps him keep things running in the office while she chases their four children back to the kitchen floor with their popsicles. (Daddy’s never happy when he finds popsicle juice on the carpet!)

In addition to spending time with his family, Rylan enjoys working with Scout Troop 11 and backpacking on the Appalachian Trail in his spare time.
