Specialties

Nurture your child’s musical growth! Join us for fun and playful music classes that will foster your child’s musical ability while strengthening their bond with you.

Our research-based program will help your child learn to sing in tune and keep a beat. (If you struggle in these areas, the class will help you, too.) Plus, our teachers will share lots of creative ideas to help your family be more musical all day long, from morning until bed time.

In addition to 10 weekly classes, you’ll receive 2 copies of a CD with more than 20 creative songs and chants, and a beautifully illustrated song book. You will also receive a parent guide with information on the theory behind our widely respected, international program, founded in 1987.

Locations in Auburn, Granite Bay, Nevada City, and Grass Valley! Visit our web site for details on class times and locations. We also do musical birthday parties.

History

Established in 2004.

Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical.

Meet the Business Owner

Elizabeth G.

Business Owner

Teacher Beth is the Center Director of Sierra Foothills Music Together. Beth loves sharing her passion for music with children and their parents and caregivers. Beth plays ukulele, guitar, and piano, and dabbles in harp and violin, but her main and most beloved instrument is the human voice. She has been singing since she was a very small girl, and she now enjoys singing all day with her daughter and any other children she meets. She has studied classical voice for more than 10 years, and has more than a decade of experience performing as a member and soloist in choirs ranging from small, a cappella Renaissance groups to large 80-voice choirs. She has also had many years of experience as a cantor/song leader for churches in Sacramento and the Bay Area.
