Strange operation. Completely wasted my valuable time. I made an appointment over two months ago for my initial meeting with this Doctor per their schedule
I went in and was missing my insurance card but had it on my smart phone with everything needed, but was put off by a receptionist who could be accurately described, as dumber than a box of rocks.
While we were waiting we watched the same woman not validate and try to put off another woman who was a patient with an appointment. The receptionist kept trying to get a hold of an office manager who would not pick up his phone to make a decision that was unnecessary while we were told to keep waiting. This office is a mess, and the complete lack of professionalism reflects directly on the Doctor who I never saw.
I strongly recommend you pass on this physician, and gravely regret wasting my time.

Very weird response. My network noted this doctor was available. I called and was screened by age. After I told them my issue, sports injury, I was told this doctor doesn’t see patients for pain. The guy said they dont issue pain prescriptions either. After I explained I do not want any pain medication but more a possible referral to sports rehab, I was asked additional questions. I politely declined. I find it extremely strange a doctor doesn’t see patients based on pain. I just found this was a weird interaction.

Dr. Schumer’s all about business and cuts right to the chase on your health concerns. On my last several visits for a check up, the staff and assistant nurses were friendly and helpful. The poorly designed parking garage is a different story though, drive slowly with your headlights ON as the cramped spaces and tight turns increase risk of a fender bender. Parking is free.

Dr Schumer has the best bedside manner ever! And he is attentive and thorough!!! You always leave feeling reassured!!!

Dr. Schumer is professional, friendly, and attentive. After I moved to Washington, I searched for a family doctor that everyone in my family would like. Not an easy task!
We were reluctant at first because our previous doctor came off as inattentive, impatient, and their service desk wasn’t very friendly.
My only complaint about Dr. Schumer’s office is that they don’t send a text, email, or phone reminder about your upcoming appointment. Then again, I’ve probably just gotten spoiled with technology! ;)
