I love this place. I had a 90min massage last week for the first time here and it was heavenly. Highly recommend and will be going back!

I have been going to Sarah for facials and massage for years. She is the best out there, and she is a very nice person too! The Spa is beautiful and the prices are very reasonable.

For Christmas, my friend got me a gift certificate for a facial and massage — that I promptly forgot about until my birthday.
What a mistake.
The staff was friendly, and I have never felt so relaxed. The infrared sauna was my favorite. I even googled how much it would cost to install one in my home! It was surprisingly inexpensive, but then you have to add in the electricity cost.
I guess Ill just have to keep going back to Safari Spa.
What a hardship.

I received a gift certificate for a massage, but kept putting it off. I just didn’t have a lot of faith in this spa because I went to the previous two salon businesses that were in this location and wasn’t 100% pleased. Well, I’m glad I finally booked it! I’m very particular about massages. I like the whole spa experience ~ lighting, music, aromatherapy, a calm setting, etc., something I find in resort spas. I had Laura and she was PHENOMENAL. I am so happy with the whole experience, from the moment I walked through the door, to being allowed to get up when I felt ready, to finally making my super relaxed legs work and going back out to check out. They know what they’re doing to make clients feel what they should feel at a spa… RELAXED :) A little retreat from a hectic world, and I will definitely be back.

I was visiting Auburn for the holiday and I found Safari Spa. What a gem this place is. For one, I love how sweet the staff is. Very thoughtful abt my experience. Right when I arrived I was offered tea. Delightful! I arrived early and spent some time in the infa red sauna. I had a signature massage with Sarah. I didn’t realiZe how tense my body was until I walked out of there. I feel great! I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town and support small business.

I have been a client of Safari Spa for almost a month and must write about this amazing place. I had been searching for massage spa services ever since I relocated from the Mid Peninsula Bay Area to Lincoln 11 months ago. I saw a Group On certificate for a reduced one hour massage and after reviewing their website I thought I would try it out. I have been getting massages for a number of years in a variety of settings: spa, therapeutic chiropractic based, sports based, you name it. My massage therapist at Safari Spa, Laura Johnson, is the BEST ever! She is very knowledgeable and professional in her technique and is a delightful person, in addition to being a wonderful communicator. Since I had not been getting regular massages for about a year before finding Safari Spa, Laura started me on a weekly schedule for about 5 weeks and then will transition me to every 2 weeks and then monthly for maintenance. Exactly what I have been used to and exactly what I need. Going through widowhood, then house selling, then house building, then moving and starting a new life in this beautiful area really took it out of me. I look forward to each session knowing I am in good hands (no pun intended!). I am SO glad I reconnected with my body’s need for work on my physical parts which so impacts the wellness of my mental, spiritual, and physical health.

I made an appointment for a Brazilian wax and what a disappointment it was. First off there was not enough big sticks for the wax so they used super small ones that would keep snapping. The lady who was waxing me tried to use the hard wax and wasn’t sure how it worked, it was the most painful experiment ever! Then later in the process she kept trying to wax the same spot over and over. Which has left me with blisters. The whole process lasted a little over an hour. I couldn’t believe it the whole process was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Please use this as a warning and do not go here for a wax until they teach them how to properly wax! Save your self from the pain I’m now enduring!!!

This place is great! I got an email for a massage groupon and decided to give this place a shot. I have been to a few different massage places and this place is definitely a standout. The atmosphere is great, it is decorated very beautifully, it’s clean, and it smells very nice.
My massage was with Megan and she was amazing. She asked for my preferences and followed them perfectly. I will definitely be coming back for future massages.
I haven’t tried any of the other spa services but I plan to in the future after my massage experience.

I purchased a Groupon for my mother and I for an hr massage and it went way better than I expected. They treated us amazing from start to finish. The shop is very clean and relaxing. Im excited to find this place. We will definitely be coming back here!

All I can say is that they are AMAZING! We had a group of three… And we all left happy, one of us had a pregnancy massage and she said that it was perfect… A lot of places are scared to even touch you when you are pregnant and but not these ladies, they actually massaged her! It was an hour long and you actually got an hour. I highly recommend this establishment!

A very serene and beautiful place to get an excellent massage. They have a great sauna you can use to warm up your muscles before your massage. They are very nice and professional here. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. Their prices are very reasonable. I can definitely recommend.

Yesterday I received an email from Groupon for their signature massage. I bought the deal and scheduled an after hours appointment the same day. Sarah was my massage therapist, and she did a fantastic job. She personalized my massage perfectly to my preferences and was friendly but not overly chatty. The spa itself was decorated beautifully and filled me with a feeling of serenity. Occasionally I could hear the upbeat from next door but it did not interfere with my relaxation.

Wow. What can I say. The staff is AMAZING! The second I walked in the door there was fresh lemon water in wine glasses along with yummy snacks waiting for us before our couples massage. Not only was the facility BEAUTIFUL, but the massage was by far one of the best I have ever experienced!!! I live in Lincoln CA and all I can say is the Safari Spa was worth the drive. I was also very happy to see everything they offer at their salon, from massage to spray tan, to yoga, to facials, act. you name it they do it. Thank you for making me my experience so wonderful and special. I can’t wait to come back again to get pampered.

Where do I start, so many good things to say about this spa and they offer many different services, I’ve come here for massages, a facial, yoga, and the sauna. Next, I plan to get eye lash extensions here.
The ambiance here is wonderful, very relaxing. It’s apparent the owners, Yavonne and Sara, have a true passion for what they do, it comes through in the attention they give to make sure you feel amazing and have the best experience while you are there. I’ve received services from both of them, and will continue to come to them for all of my spa treatments.
I have followed Yavonne for years as she worked at other spas in the area, I’m so excited she now owns one of the best spas in town. She really does give the best massage I have ever had, nothing compares.
I hadn’t had a facial in years and decided it was time, so I made an appointment with Sara, so glad I did because the facial was amazing, I am definitely making it a regular occurrence. Also, the infrared sauna is a really nice addition to your massage or facial, or after a yoga session.
The prices here so reasonable, there is no reason to go anywhere else. I’m pretty thrilled to have this lovely spa to come for all of my beauty needs!
