My family just moved to Auburn in August. We have enjoyed pizza here twice and loved it! While trying to order recently, I discovered they closed on December 1st. So sad! Wish they would have made an announcement on Facebook(they just stopped posting and replying) or emailed me about it but I am actually still receiving promotional emails from the company. What a loss.

Good place for a soda and a slice. I like the meat trio pizza. Nice tap beer selection as well and good service!

We just ordered from Pizza Schmizza for the first time. We ordered a few different pies, and all were pretty bad. Skimpy toppings and low on flavor. The crust was ok. I’ve had pizza at several places since moving to Auburn, and this was our least favorite… By far. A decent frozen pizza far surpasses Pizza Schmizza. Sorry… But it was just bad.

A slice of Chicken Bacon Ranch and a slice of spaghetti with meatballs. Yep thats right, spaghetti and meatball pizza! I was surprised to see such a strange combo at a pizza place that doesn’t serve up all you can eat pizza. Just like the name implies, cook noodles with meatball sauce on the pie. I could have took it without the noodles, they didn’t seem to add much to the taste, just added extra starch. Some of the noodles were crunchy but not in a bad way. The chicken bacon ranch was a better slice. The crust is the real star of this pizza show. My friend got the cheese and pepperoni and I am told they were good. My favorite part of this visit was the glass of Coffee Oatmeal Stout, by Good People Brewing in Birmingham AL. If you like a thick dark glass of beer, this is the stuff. So good and great with a pizza, although any beer is great with pizza. There were several other styles on tap as well.

The place is clean, the service is friendly, and the slices are priced reasonably. The taste is ok… basically your typical«NY slice» where the pizzas are precooked and then fired in the coal oven for a minute or so to re-heat. One slice cost roughly $ 2.50, which wasn’t bad at all. Sauce and cheese quantity was pretty good.

Ordered the largest-sized«Green Chicken Pie» and some cheese sticks. The pizza was pretty grub. Everyone enjoyed it. The pizza and sticks cost ~$ 32 dollars, so not terrible. The largest pizza was enough for our group of 4. They say it’ll feed 5 – 6, but I think 6 might be stretching it. The slices are pretty big, but I can’t really imagine anyone being satisfied with just one slice. Our pizza had 8 slices, which comes out to 2 slices per person. I could have easily had 3 slices. so no way this would be big enough to feed 6 guys. The inside looks much different than the previous waffles and frozen yogurt place. They’ve got some nice comfy booths along the side. I like what they’ve done with the place. I’ll probably order from them again. Everyone working there seemed pretty nice too. The online ordering wasn’t available for this Auburn location yet. They also do gluten free pizzas for an extra charge. I’ll probably check out happy hour the next time, It’s from 2−5pm daily. $ 2 slices, $ 1 fountain drinks, $ 1 draft beers.

The giant slices of pizza remind me of the Bay Area’s hole-in-the-wall pizza places with slices ranging larger than a child’s arm. The Don Ho was Canadian bacon, cheese, and pineapple which was just like a Hawaiian pizza but with extra bacon. I got the pepperoni also. My total was $ 5. I had a food coma for the next 2 days. And I loved how it doesn’t soak oil through a paper napkin. It made the pizza feel a little healthier even as the slice was too big.

Pizza Schmizza is a fun addition to Auburn pizza options. Fun variety, large slices. It is definitely on the higher end of prices, so we won’t be regulars, but we will visit again. I tried the No Kiss Tonight and Pepperoni and both were delicious. Looking forward to trying other menu options. They have a $ 2 Happy Hour slices from 2 – 5 so we’ll mostly likely take advantage of that.
