NGI specializes in the installation of radiation resistant reflective insulation for your home or office. Conventional insulation has a resistance to conductive heat and convective heat, but not radiation. Once your conventional insulation reaches its saturation level (R-​value) it allows that heat to move through it, resulting in heat escaping in the winter and entering in the summer. NGI radiant barriers are guaranteed to block more than 90% of the heat that enters your home in the summer and up to 50% of the heat that escapes from your home in the winter. The result is a guaranteed reduction of your utility bills by up to 40%. NASA has used radiant barrier to shield space travel from the extreme heat and cold for over 50 years. Reflective insulation began in 1954 in the space program. Today, there are hundreds of radiant barriers manufactured overseas, but very few are manufactured locally.
