Dr Wallace’s office is a nice place for a cleaning, but it seems they are very aggressive when it comes to major dental work. They recommended I drill out all my old fillings & replace them, and told me I needed a root canal. I had some hesitation (as this was my first visit) and when I went to the front desk the ladies suggested I book quickly before my tooth «blew up»! I told them I was nervous to do all this work & they assured me a vallium would help & called in a prescription & pushed me to book the appointment. I called back the next day & asked them to send pricing so I could call my insurance company to determine what my actual cost would be. After multiple phone calls, I still was unable to obtain actual pricing from them.
Feeling super unsure about the situation, I booked an appointment with another dentist for a 2^nd opinion. The doctor there was appalled at Dr. Wallace’s office’s recommendations. He told me I need 1 filling, and the rest of my fillings look great. No root canal.
I’m just saying… second opinion people. Dr. Wallace’s office is fine… nice enough… but I won’t be going back. I don’t trust that my best interest is all that they had in mind.

Dr. Wallace and the entire staff are gracious and professional. Our daughter who is usually afraid of Dentists had the best experience with Jennifer who cleaned her teeth. Thank you Dr. Wallace for your wonderful practice!

Amazing Dentist & Staff! Thank you Unilocal for helping me find this dentist. After having a horrible experience with a local dentist and writing my 1^st Unilocal review, I searched for a new dentist using Unilocal.The recommendation that was posted for Dr. Wallace prompted me to make a needed appointment with his office. His staff was supportive and took the time to answer all my questions. Dr. Wallace was so kind and considerate. He made sure I was comfortable and the whole visit was as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be. Now my husband has become a patient! If you are looking for a dentist anywhere near Auburn, CA Dr. Wallace is a great choice.

If you are a wuss when it comes to dental work like I am, this is the man to visit. If you do not mind a caveman chipping away at you while you writhe in pain, then by all means go somewhere else.
There is affordable sedation dentistry available and they make sure you are numb prior to working on you. (a dentist who does not offer this or who starts to drill without checking is just barbaric).
I am no stranger to dental work and am traveling 40 minutes to this office because he has compassion and makes me feel comfortable.
There are awful dentists out there (pretty sure I have met them all) but Dr. Wallace is a gem of a dentist. I just had two teeth extracted this morning and am writing a 5 star review for the man… thats pretty amazing.
Thank GOD for sedation dentistry and a dentist that I am not afraid to visit.
