Marilyn’s Silver Slipper

I bought a veil and a small hair piece here for my wedding. I liked the idea of doing all my shopping locally, and Marilyn and her employees are all sweet ladies! It’s a small shop so everything I wanted to look at needed to be ordered. It turned out that someone else had already ordered similar dresses in the color I was interested in, so she took my name and number so I could come in to look at them before they were picked up (I work up the street). Well she never called me and the store is only open if you go and get someone from her store across the street to open it for you… it ended up being a hassle and taking too long to wait for a call (that I never did get) just to CHOOSE a style. It’s a lovely place to buy a veil, or a nice dress that they already have in stock, maybe even a special shoe order– but I wouldn’t count on big special orders!
