Fun and friendly staff. Food was a little cold but they were packed. I have been many times and food was great.

The food is pretty good but the service sucks! Takes fooooorrever to be served, get your food, and get the check. Try to make your drink last long because it won’t get refilled. If you have lots of time to kill and want decent food but horrible service, go here.

Good menu, excellent food, top notch service, especially Carmen the bartender. Can’t go wrong here.

This place is off of the Main Street in downtown Auburn. I tried the Java porter, it was a watery beer with strong chocolate & toasted malt. It was flat as well. A disappointment. I ordered the poutine, it was average, along with Black & Bleu burger with waffle fries. What I got was the burger with regular fries. Not a deal breaker, but, listen to what your customers say. My colleague got regular fries when he ordered pub chips. When I said I ordered waffle fries, the bartender said she was sorry. I said don’t worry about it, She decided to get me waffle fries. When they arrived, they were overcooked, dark brown. Overall, just dissatisfied and not sure if I will be back.

So Mad Anthony was apparently some crazy old general who defeated some Indians! Now he has minor league teams named after him, the MADANTS! He also has this brewery and restaurant named after him in Auburn, IN! I dug this place, I was buying for our family 6 people so I dug the prices! We got 7 meals, 2 apps, and I got 2 beers and it was just over 100 bucks! Not to shabby. Our group orders some flat breads, Salads, Fish, and I got the veggie Portabello sandwich without the cheese making it vegan! My sandwich was great, good flavor and it came with fries which were also really great! Now to the beer, I got the Good Karma IPA(their highest alcohol content) It was delicious and totally hit the spot! I also tried a pint of the Gabby Blonde, this was less flavorful and quite light. Not bad, but if your looking for a punch from your brew go with the Good Karma IPA. Our waitress was very patient with our larger group and did a great job! For the small town of Auburn, IN this is a great little brewery and I look forward to going back at some point!

Mad Anthony’s was a lot better than expected for this little town of Auburn! I was satisfied with my food of a large/filling salad, and the hummus appetizer was great. The service was pretty good, our waiter kept a pretty good eye on us. There was only one bathroom for both men/women upstairs, so I was a bit skeptical about that. But definitely a good place to get some decent food! AND they were the only place that I could find in the WHOLETOWN with any vegan options(even if it’s slim pickin’s).

Stopped here for quick bite and very good. Enjoyed salad with warm bacon dressing while hubby had club sandwich. Service good. Likely will stop back as in between our way to or from daughter ‘s house.

This place has as offered the same mediocre beers since it opened. Add to that the gnat infestation and I promise I’ll never go back.

Delicious! One of the Best Micro brewery’s we’ve ever been to. The burgers were great, and the beer was awesome. Highly recommend the Raspberry Wheat or Pale Ale. Our waiter was named Merrit, super cool dude. Will come again.

This was a second visit for me. The first visit started with colleagues and about 5 glasses of vodka on the rocks… I really can’t comment on the food that time… This visit was great. It was late on a Monday, so no wait. Server was friendly, and the food was great. Good selections. Fresh ingredients. Good prices. The grilled asparagus/portobello salad was like eating with downtown Chicago flavors, Texas portions, and NE Indiana prices. What’s not to like?

Mad Ants has a wonderful IPA! I could go there just for that. It just happens to be an added bonus that their food is good too. They have your traditional«American» food, but they also have different items on their menu like Scottish Eggs(if you have never had that, go their NOW and order it!!) and Gorgonzola waffle fries. My favorite item that I like to order is their«Unwrapps», it is basically like a pizza but it is on flat bread. They have a bunch of different ones to choose from. However, if you are not in a hurry… Order one of their pizzas! They take 30 min to bake, so order it while you are ordering your first beer! The crust is AH-MAZING! Mad Anthony’s is always a fail safe for us. Whenever we can’t make a decision on where to go, we usually end up going their!

Walleye sliders & pub chips are a must. Also love the Philly cheese steak. I had a raspberry margarita which was pleasantly different than most restaurants.

This place was horrible. I looked up the menu on their website. I’ve had Boudin balls(their crawfish balls) and Scottish Egg’s(Swedish eggs only breaded) and was excited to have them again. I get there and the menu had the boudin balls blanked out. Upon asking she stated that they no longer sold them. I asked for the Scottish Eggs and the response was that they were our of them. I asked for a double tequila margarita and what I got was the equivalent of crushed ice with half an ounce of tequila in it. Tasted nothing like a margarita. So I ordered the calamari and it was decent, but the sauce was nothing like should come with calamari. I ordered a gyro with no tomato and onion. What I got was a gyro with no tomato or lettuce, but loaded with onions. I will never go there again. The service was friendly, but uncaring.

I enjoyed my Mad Anthony’s experience, though the food was much better than the service. It’s a «seat yourself» joint with lots of booth and table options. They offer a variety of food(good: wings, scotch eggs, walleye sliders; bad: lettuce wraps. Just take my word for it, okay?) in a casual setting, and the prices are very reasonable. Service was just okay, but I’d give it another shot. Cute retail/t-shirts.

My wife and I decided to visit Mad Anthony’s of Auburn on a Sunday afternoon since we’ve been there many times before and enjoyed the food. This visit we had the Scooby snacks, a Hawaiian unwrap and tried a new seasonal offering, smoked whitefish spread. All of the items were good. Our service was very polite and prompt. We did note that there were very few patrons compared to past visits(but it was Sunday late lunch). My only gripe would be language from the customers at the bar. F-bombs were flying from a couple of folks who may have had too much to drink. But otherwise we’ll visit again.

Had a wonderful«Welcome to October» meal here the other night. Melt in your mouth maple syrup glazed pork medallions(4) on a bed of spinach was scrumptious. The sweetness of the glaze combined with the bitterness of the greens was a wonderful combination. Meat was prepared so that it was super juicy yet hot all the way through. Sided with potatoes and squash complimented the pork. Washed down with a Mad Anthony Oktoberfest Ale. Bitter enough with just enough hops to make it warm. Take me to Germany, please! (Also tasted one of their flat bread pizzas.) Not just a bar, but a great place to have a meal also!
