Meatheads! Useless meatheads in the Parts Dept.
I called looking for an o-​ring. First, the dispatcher put my call through to collision. Once collision got me to parts, they told me the o-​ring isn’t sold separate, and I’d need to buy an almost $ 90 filler neck to get the $ 5 o-​ring. Two minutes on google and I had the part number myself. Called back, asked for Nissan Parts, got collision again. Got redirected again, got them to pull up the part number, then I got hung up on. Called a 3^rd time, got collision a 3^rd time. The guy in collision pulled the part up, found it in NJ, and told me he’d have it overnighted and I could pick it up in the morning.
Well the part never got ordered, I showed up around 1pm, they didn’t have it, no one knew anything, and I stood around for over half an hour while they ran around like idiots. I’m leaving first thing in the morning for a 2,200 mile roadtrip with a fuel leak.
To some people, your job of getting parts is important, but apparently to Lee’s employees it’s not.
