Laurie Whitton – Coldwell Banker

We were referred to Laurie Whitton of Lyon Real Estate by a friend, and would certainly do the same!
Our list of priorities were not easy as we wanted something with all the good things like nice area with trees, close to town, privacy, fairly level ground, irrigation water available, livable fixer-​upper with 2 baths, etc.
We were all over the map. My wife loved it in town but I was a little too claustrophobic for that. I wanted a little space to plant a few things and neither one of us wanted to be out in the boonies.
We were continually coming up with different parameters trying to find just the right thing. Laurie took all of our changes in stride, but I’m sure she wondered where we would be next. She was a champion at wading through a couple short-​sale possibilities and encouraged us to hang in there even when it looked like things were going to fall through.
We can’t say enough about having a realtor that has had years of experience, knows what to do and is assertive enough to keep the ball rolling. As it was, she saw us through a lengthy, awkward short-​sale that ended with a price we were pleased with. We couldn’t be happier!
