Lakeland Hills Dental Care

I’m gonna start with 5 stars and go from there. My apt isn’t until Thursday 30^th 2015, I have a big phobia of dentist and needles, I had a very bad experience with a dentist when I was in the army. They put the needle to far into the roof of my mouth and the numbing med came out of my nose. Then I wasn’t numb enough and and he drilled to far in and hit a nerve. My God that hurt. Then after it was filled it got infected a week later and the pressure i felt from that infection hurt so bad I couldn’t think straight. That was in 1982. I had such a bad experience I diddent go to another dentist till 1994 when my wisdom teeth got to the point the pain was so bad I had to go! I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled, all 4 were pulled at one time. Dentist pulled them while they were infected and I woke up at 3am with a 103 temp from the infection. I was so sick and in pain for 6 days.
So that why I say I’ll start with 5 stars and go from there. OK you all I’ll be back with an update.

First visit. Everyone was very friendly & professional.
Eva the hygienist did a fantastic job with my cleaning. No pain in gum measurement or cleaning. She worked quickly & was thoughtful of making me comfortable.
Dr. Lo was gentle & gave me treatment options for my next steps. He was very considerate about potential costs & benefits.
I had a great experience.
2^nd Visit today
Today I got a crown & cosmetic filling. I’ve had lots of crowns, but this was the first time they did the whole process from prep to finish in one visit! They created the crown with a super cool machine while I watched.
Everyone on the team is professional, classy and prepared. Dr. Lo & Rachel worked quickly without hurrying, and they worked well as a team.
I couldn’t believe it, but there was no pain — not even in the shot for anesthetic. I heartily recommend this dentist.

Excellent staff! I had been to two other local «chain» dental offices & felt like I was at Wal-​Mart. I won’t say how long it had been since I had seen a dentist so I wasn’t an easy cleaning. The hygienists was excellent though and was very gentle.
Found my new full time dentist.

I’ve been coming to Lakeland Hills Dental for about 6 years now and LOVE visiting here. First I think it’s important to say that the entire staff is beyond friendly. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out, it’s a very pleasant experience. I’ve been fortunate enough to have Eva as my Dental Hygienist, and she is amazing! I also can not say enough positive things about Dr. Lo. Not only is he very talented, he is also very friendly and takes the time to explain everything he is doing. I cannot recommend Lakeland Hills Dental enough!

I love having Dr. Lo as my dentist. My dad, who has extremely high standards, has been going to Dr. Lo for over three years now. My dad will not go to just any old doctor; he will only go to the best.
After his very first visit, my dad told me that he had finally found a good dentist and he wanted me to go there. Once I started going and found out what great service and quality they provided, I wanted my boyfriend to have Dr. Lo as his dentist.
My boyfriend had had a previous bad experience with a dentist in Puyallup. After his first time getting a filling with Dr. Lo, he said, «I didn’t know getting a filling was supposed to be 100% pain free!» Recently, I needed to have a baby-​sized molar removed. I was very nervous and worried about getting my first tooth pulled and probably called the office four or five times just with questions. They were more than patient with me and the removal was as easy as taking a nail out of a wall. All three of us are extremely happy with the high quality dental care of the Lakeland Hills dentistry.
To top it off, all of the hygienists and office staff are above the standard polite professionalism. They are genuinely caring and sweet towards all of us. They remember who we are, what is going on in our lives, and of course, they understand my insurance better than I do. I absolutely love everything about Dr. Lo’s practice. I would recommend him to everyone!

I just have to say first of all, that I am a very loyal customer and patient. The dentist that I had seeing for the last 15 years was in the Kirkland area, and I now live in the Sumner. It got to be a bit of a challenge arranging my visits as really; it takes up to half the day with travel for any dental visits. Finally, after canceling several visit with my dentist, I took a leap of faith and set up an appointment with Dr. Grant Lo, DDS at Lakeland Hills Dental Care.
Was I impressed! From the moment I walked into the office and was welcome with warm greetings, to the time with the hygienist — very gentle, caring and a wealth of information on dental hygiene, to lastly my time with Dr. Lo. This group was so professional, caring and really had a vested interest in your dental care needs and a long term relationship with you as a patient.
I will be going back for a little work and will be recommending Dr. Lo and his dental practice to my daughter, family and friends. I am very thankful I took the leap and made the change.

Dr Lo is very good with our kids and he knows his stuff. But even more impressive is his practice of conservative dentistry. Rather than just doing work, he’s wait and see if the condition develops thereby saving $$$. I go to Dr Lo all the time now.
