Kleenair Heating & Air Conditioning

I recently had a Mitsubishi Minisplit Heating and Air Conditioning unit with 2 air handlers installed in my condo. Aaron was a great salesman and up front person with whom I could call, anytime, and ask questions while I was making my decision and during and after installation. The price was well below other installers and within about 1 month I received my $ 400 rebate check for the 2 air handlers– no paperwork to fill out on that, it just showed up in the mail. :)
The day of installation, I wasn’t yet living there and had to buzz the guys in through the gate and I had a little difficulty with one of the employees. I called Aaron and he was on it. He had another guy go over and supervise the team for the rest of the day. I talked with Aaron about it later and he patiently listened and supported me. I was really happy about it. The city inspector didn’t pass the install because of an error in fuse sizes. Kleen air came out that day and changed them and it passed.
The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating was because of the 2 problems mentioned above. But really, even when some things weren’t perfect, their system of fixing the problems worked really well. I didn’t have to worry, hassle or wait to get it fixed, it simply was. All the team of men and women (Yay, a woman on the team!) were friendly and helpful.
The Mitsubishi Minisplit system is so wonderful. There are quite a few options on the remote (one for each airhandler) and the heating is really even. My electric bills (I’ve had 2 now) were $ 25/​month and these have been colder months. Because I smelled a little moldy smell in the condo, at the time of install, the team removed the old, filthy dirty and completely inefficient furnace (that had evidence of an old leak=mold). I had a painting contractor seal the ducts (that deliver the dirty, attic air) and textured and taped so I only get the fully filtered air that is in my house now. There are 2 big filters in each handler that need rinsing (no buying filters) and 2 small, extra special filters that need to be replaced every year.
I have a lung injury from smoke and am disabled. So I am really sensitive to all odors and fumes. I was afraid that I would still smell the smoke (inside my condo) from wood stoves in my area like I did in my last apartment. But no, I have no smells from outside at all! It is a great system for people with severe allergies or lung conditions like mine. And I feel confident that my in home air will remain pure and clean even when a big forest fire is happening near my town.
Thank you, Aaron, and the team for all your great work and helpful, service with a smile, care. It’s the first time since my injury, 6 years ago, that I can control my ‘in home’ air environment and feel truly safe. I finally feel like I’m ‘home.‘
