Industrial Fright has been designing and building special effects for Hollywood and the Dark Amusement industry for over 20 year. In 1998 we opened our first Haunted House, the Fright Factory. Our award-​winning effects and haunts have been featured on numerous television and cable networks, including TechTV, where we were voted Scariest High-​Tech Haunt in the Country.

We use our proprietary technology to create an immersive haunt experience unlike any other. We create an environment that confuses the senses and sets the scene to maximize the anticipation. When the Fright happens, it’s when you least expect it!

History

Established in 1994.

Industrial Fright began as a team of engineers, designing and building high-​tech special effects for Hollywood and the Dark Amusement Industry. In 1998 we decided to build our own Haunted House to serve our local community, and we successfully operated the Fright Factory in Carmichael until 2003.

We moved the design and fabrication business to Auburn in 2004, and spent the next few years focusing on the design and construction of our technology. Noticing a distinct lack of seasonal entertainment in the Auburn Area for Halloween, in 2014 we decided to re-​open the Fright Factory in this area, to provide wholesome family entertainment using our unique style of technology and story-​telling to create a unique Haunt experience.
