History

Established in 2011.

I-​5 Driving School was started by two dads who were frustrated with the poor quality of driving schools in the area. Having sent both of their eldest kids to these schools, they resolved to create a better experience for kids in Maple Valley and Auburn.

Two years later, both locations are the #1 driving schools in the two cities, with full classes, a great word-​of-​mouth reputation, and a commitment to continual improvement on driving skills.

I want to start off by saying I passed my driving test! But even if I would not have passed I would still give this driving school 5 stars. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted. Quick paperwork process as well as detailed explanation of how things work. My driving examiner Lindsay was wonderful! She made me feel so comfortable and confident. I am 22 years old and have been avoiding the driving part of the test because of fear of failure! I passed the first time around with a 96 and I feel I-​5 driving school played a big part in me being comfortable and confident about my driving. I got the bundle where I use their car and warm up for 30 minutes before I took the test for $ 80. Definitely well worth it. Thank you Lindsay and thank you to the front desk lady (I can’t remember her name) for your patience with my nervousness!

I had to take a driving test again because my license from California had expired. Apparently you have to take the tests again because the state says you have to. I’m not going to fly back just to renew my license, so it’s like I’m 16 again having to take these.
The people working here were super nice, and gave me some good tips on what to practice first. I passed on my first try, but still lost points. Who actually parallel parks anymore? Anyway, 4 stars because they don’t open til 10am, but I guess they are open later. I needed early morning though.
