Earth Fare fares well with me. If I’m in the area, I just pop in to grab a few things such as Stash Teas; this location has a huge selection! The produce section could be larger but certainly has fresh fruits and veggies. You’d expect crazy sky high $$$ prices considering the nature of the offerings, but the wallet doesn’t suffer too badly. Recently I picked up some Lärabars(my latest addiction) which were actually the same price as at Publix. Speaking of the P-word, Earth Fare has been suffering a bit since the big P rolled into town but they still seem to be doing all right. You can get coupons e-mailed to you, and the store offers lots of deals. And the employees are nice too. Good place.

Love this place! I stopped by for the lunch time sandwiches & they’re delicious! The sandwiches are so big & stuffed to the max with meat! I love there chocolate milk, it’s one of a kind! Some things cost more than Whole Foods, but some things are worth it. Great lunch location!

Two words: Burger Bucks. It makes for a great Sunday lunch. The burgers are great and the potato salad is amazing! They have really good coupons if you sign up for the emails. I really enjoy the cheese samples too. The staff is always very friendly and are very helpful.

As I work in this store, I’m going to try to be objective. As far as VERYHIGHEND, not really. yes on some of the more exotic things but on most of your everyday things, we’re not any worse than Kroger or Publix. As long as you don’t mine a few emails sending you a coupon every week(sometimes more) SIGNUP! They try to pick things in different departments to share the love, BUTTHEYMOSTLYPICKONTHEMEATDEPT. especially during grilling season. A pound of ground chuck free here, a pound of chicken breast there, and not to mention a GREAT price on steaks around the holidays. Do we make mistakes? YES! We are only human. Can we get better? Yes! With your help. Just let us know what you need and if it falls in our philosophy we will do our best to get it. Do we make big BOO BOOs YESWEDO! just give us your feed back and we will do our very best to make things right for you.

Burger for bucks. Sunday 12−3pm. Burger for $ 2 and sides for $ 1. Always hits the spot. The red potato salad with parsley is delicious. The cafeteria has ample seating and free wifi. not a bad study location. outlets at every table for those of you with laptops that have no more battery power. Overall, a solid place to grab a bite to eat and do some grocery shopping too. The prices can be a bit much. For example, a little carton of baby bellas will be $ 4 dollars compared to $ 2.50 at Publix, Walmart, etc. They’ll have some good sales from time to time. The fresh produce section is also fairly limited. A nice cheese department though. They also have a variety of beverages(alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The Maine Root Ginger Beer is awesome. Definitely the most gingery ginger beer I’ve ever had. BURNYOURMOUTH delicious!

I am writing this review with a big smile on my face. Earth Fare gives me reason to continue to live in this town. I love being able to go buy my food without wondering how much chemicals or preservatives I am going to have to chow down. Granted it is a little more expensive than other grocery stores in town but I doubt one can not really put a price on the cost of staying healthy. They have a prepared food area where one can always get a warm meal. Great vegetarian options. Awesome sushi and okay pizza. They always have a coupon every week sent to my email and one can really get good deals from though. Free Wifi, coffee shop and a food lounge. What more can one ask for from a grocery store It is definitely a step down from Whole Foods but I’m thankful for this huge blessing of Earth Fare in this little town of Auburn.

I ordered the ratatouille burger and Charleston Crab Chowder Soup from the deli area. When they gave me the ‘burger’, it was actually just the patty. They said they don’t provide the bun although the item was called ‘ratatouille burger’. Maybe that’s what it meant and my inexperience suffered. It was $ 2.50. The soup was amazing but expensive. The 16 oz. that I got was more than $ 5. It’s not worth it to get the 8 oz. because it’s incredibly tiny for a $ 1 less. Despite the deli selection, they are the only place I know that has macaroons. It’s also incredibly enjoyable to just stare at their shelves and sample some of their foods throughout the store. I never spent more than $ 30 here but the people I know who have prepared dishes from this place have made incredibly delicious entrees. If I’m going to spend a lot of money on groceries, at least I know I’m going to enjoy it.

Oh Earth Fare… how do I love thee? Let me count the ways: 1) I love that you always have free samples, and that you can sample any of the hot/cold bar items, soups, cold case items, etc. that you want. You can sample 4 different freshly pressed peanut butter flavors and green drink. 2) I love the ambiance of your store, and how the first time I walked through your doors, I imagined I was in a big city instead of a small college town. You smell wonderful. 3) I love that your prices are not going to kill me. Sure, there are plenty of high ticket items on your shelves, but there are also extremely reasonable prices. And you tend to have coupons out and available to help out your consumers. 4) I love the weekly(sometimes more often) «love letters» and«gifts» I get from you in the form of weekly coupons for being on your mailing list. Only these coupons aren’t of the«40 cents off a $ 4 item» variety. They are coupons for FREE items. FREE. Usually FREE with $ 5 purchase, but still… I can spend $ 5 in the blink of an eye in this lovely store. If you aren’t on the mailing list you are missing out on a lot. I have gotten free burgers, bacon, and chicken(for my husband), free tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, free soup, free apples, and half off the prepared food section. This is a big deal. Sometimes the savings from the weekly coupons blows my mind a little bit. It makes me wonder if you are a little unstable, Earth Fare, to be showering me with so many gifts — but then again you’ve won a very loyal customer, so you’re doing something right. 5) I love your prepared food bar. The salad is always gorgeous, and you almost always have yummy vegan and veggie options. 6) I love your family dinner night(every Thursday). I don’t have kids, but I have a Little Sister, and I love to take her there for dinner on Thursday. Up to 6 kids can eat a healthy meal free here with one adult. Again — mind blowing. 7) I love that I don’t have to obsessively check labels in your store quite the way I have to in a normal store. I love that I don’t feel like I’m engaged in an ideological battle while shopping for my food here. I LOVETHISSTORE! Things I’m not so crazy about: 1) The check out clerks. They are some of the most friendly, sweet people I have ever had check me out at a grocery store… but that’s really part of the problem. They are so, so sweet that they have to talk to you about what you bought and whether or not you liked it. I’ve worked in a health food store, and I know that a lot of health food store patrons love to talk about their purchases, but since this is ostensibly a grocery store — I mostly just want to do my food shopping and get out. And I’m usually in a hurry. During peak times, the wait to checkout can be a bit daunting, in part because of the chatty clerks. I know that friendly employees are not a bad thing… It doesn’t kill my love for this store, but it is one downside. 2) Sometimes(and only sometimes) the prepared food stuff isn’t that good. I almost hate to say that, but there have been times when you can tell that the stuff has been sitting out too long, and it has dried up or crusted over or just generally gotten weird. Once a slice of pizza that I got was pretty much as hard as a cardboard brick because I think it had been sitting on the hot plate thing for a long time. These sorts of gaffes rarely occur, and I take it all in stride. If you couldn’t tell, I adore Earth Fare. I want to spread the good news about Earth Fare. I want more people to shop there. I want Earth Fare to flourish and stay in Auburn forever and ever and ever.
