My husband and I frequent this place once a month or so. Italian is our favorite and being in Auburn, we have very limited places to choose from. We always order the same things — cheese pizza, cheese bread and their side salad. As far as consistency, its been pretty accurate,(we are both pretty picky). My only complaints would be the salad which is always watered down. I suggest if you want the croutons you get them on the SIDE because if you don’t, they’ll be a soggy mess, the ranch dressing is great! The pizza and the bread is pretty good, it’s greasy and will be even more so when you order take out.

Serious disappointment! I feel bad because the service was okay, but the food just was way over priced and the pizza fell apart! The taste of the pizza was alright but the sausage was disgusting and the price was outrageous for the quality. The cups stunk and looked barley washed I would not recommend this place.

I thought I would only give this place two, maybe three stars. There place feels like you time warped to the eighties before dark leafy greens, micro nutrients, and artisan foods were discovered. I ordered a custom meat and veggie pie and my wife ordered the ravioli and side salad. When the food arrived we both thought we wouldn’t like it. I took a bite of the pizza and thought it was made with Sysco products. It took me back tho! Back to being ten and loving a good cheesy, saucy pie. I liked it! My wife enjoyed her ravioli but the salad was a standard 80’s iceberg and croutons with a housemade dressing. She said the dressing was so good it made the salad worth eating. The décor is definitely campy material girl era Miller and Michelob signage but I didn’t care. I’m coming back with the kids! If they don’t get my nostalgic love for the place I don’t care! Pizza is my master!

The pizza is okay; in fact, one of the better pies in town. rating is low, though and here is why: Good God, I do believe they make the worst sandwich I have ever had. Let me describe this to you: First, a hot sausage grinder is this: Red sauce, peppers, onions, surrounding a massive sausage, stuffed into a wonderful french or Italian bread roll. What I got: An open faced sandwich, on pretty decent bread. The crumbled up sausage from what would ordinarily be on a pizza sitting on that bread, covered by cheese, lettuce(OMG, right?) and some weird white sauce that was, I believe, ranch dressing. Do you have a picture of that? It looked like an open face flat bread version of what their sausage pizza would look like. Now, look, I am a snob, I get that. And, I am fair enough to admit that the food is not terrible. But darnit, Jim, I wanted a grinder, which you advertise as having. But you do not. What you have is an entry into the all-time list of the worst sandwiches ever paid for by me, the reviewer. All in all, not a bad place, though– pick and choose wisely; some of it is very good.

I’ve been to this place twice, and both times I had the gyro. The second time, I decided to get a salad as well which was delicious with their ranch dressing. The gyro is good, nothing mind blowing. I would come back again. I have to try the pizza and/or pasta which could turn this into a 4-star review. My wife ordered one of the grinder sandwiches which was also really good. One downside though was the grilled cheese sandwich we ordered for our daughter. It was $ 4 and wasn’t anything special. I guess that’s what we get for ordering a grilled cheese. Next time I’ll be sure to throw on my toga for the full experience.

Great grinders, I get the pastrami with tomatoes, jalapeños and peperoncini peppers! I’ve also had the chicken and lasagna. I recommend ordering to go, the service/waitstaff leave something to be desired. Although, the staff are rude when you call in to go orders too… But if you can get past the rude service, the food is great!!!

A little greasy, but if you can get past that, this place makes the best tasting pizza in Auburn! Prices are high, but you get what you pay for! Their grinders are mouth watering! Don’t order their salad, because it’s just plain lettuce. I found their pasta to be only average. A basic, plain, quiet restaurant with decent service.

We have been going here for over 30 years so today(August 292015 at 2pm we went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday with the kids, the food was good but the server was as lazy as any that we have ever experienced there in all the times we have been there we ordered ice tea and got 10 oz glasses and most never got refilled ever and mine one time… She was not interested at all in customer service!!! I will be considering a replacement for this establishment for our next family get together where customer service means something!!!

I have been coming here since the early 90s. About once every 6 mos. Everything I have ever ordered is aaamaaazing! Love ! LOVE! the pizza, cheese bread with their own meat sauce(deliciousness), all of their grinders I have had– also scrumptious. Today I ordered the 7.50 lunch special; half grinder & green salad(good deal), yes the ranch is to die for. I must say the meatball grinder is by far one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever eaten! I have always thought the employees were friendly, same people have been there forever. Great service and traditional, authentic recipes that have stayed consistent and mouth watering. Love this place!

I grew up on this pizza and every time I come back to the PNW, I make sure to hit my favorite Auburn spot. You can’t go wrong with the pizza and the pepperoni grinder is crazy good. I saved a half of a pizza for my Dad and am taking it back to him on the red eye home tonight.

Pretty legit place. Old inside but they keep it decently clean and the service is good. A lot of people complain about oil in the food but I find its just the top layer and only because they use real cheese and a lot of it. Also, the portions are pretty large. My girlfriend and I can order one spaghetti meal and split it’s filling.

My family have been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and we have never been disappointed. The cheese bread and meat sauce is so yummy. And the grinders …omg…they are all good. The same family has ran it forever and it has been nice growing up with the em. The food is great, the prices are reasonable. We would recommend it to anyone and we have. Love this place!

I’d like to come back and try the pizza as it seems as if that’s what they are known for. This last visit wasn’t that great of a meal. I’d like to bump them up half a star but as you know, I don’t round up. The place is tucked away in a smaller strip mall in Auburn. Kind of an unlikely place for a restaurant but we wanted to try something new and gave it a shot. The place was a bit bigger than I expected when walking in. The staff was friendly and nice. We were quickly greeted and seated. There was quite a few patrons dining there. We ended up ordering a salami hoagie(half size) and the baked lasagna with ribs. The hoagie was insanely large — despite ordering the half size it looked to be about a foot long still. Bread was done well, meats were so-so. The lasagna wasn’t very good at all. The sauce was very runny and the ribs were baked a little too dry. The flavors didn’t all meld together very well. Thus between the runny sauce, not very cheesey, a bit over oily lasagna topped with dry bbq ribs, all baked together wasn’t very appetizing. I ended up only taking a few bites and heading home. Heard great things about the pizza though — so hope to be able to try again soon!

My husband and I had takeout from this restaurant last night because we had purchased a Groupon for it. Wow, I’m not even sure where to start, but I took photos to share my experience. We ordered ravioli with meatballs, two orders of garlic bread, and a BBQ chicken grinder. The ravioli was leaking grease everywhere! Through the container, through the bag, onto everything. I decided that, well, we already bought it, why not give it a shot, I was starving. Despite all the oil and grease, the sauce was not seasoned at all, it was just an acidic tomato sauce with very little seasoning. The ravioli on the other hand had enough oregano in them for two dishes of food, however, they lacked salt. The meatballs… Made me hate myself a little each time I took a bite. They were awful. The garlic bread is not made with real butter, nor fresh garlic. It’s a margarine spread doused with garlic powder. The food was embarrassing. I would never serve this food to anyone, unless I never wanted them to return. I gave two stars because, despite the food, the staff was friendly. My husband’s grinder was not as big of a disaster — he said it was OK, but he would not return for another. Maybe Gordon Ramsey needs to come help this place.

The staff is always friendly, fast and polite whenever we come here. The food is always tasty and hot. The ranch salad dressing is delicious!!! BF always gets the lasagna with garlic bread. He loves it and always cleans his plate! I always get the turkey grinder and it is food-orgasmic!!! All in all this place is clean, has great staff and most importantly has great food. So if you’re looking for a great place for some grub, stop in or order to go!

We came here again tonight with the grandkids. Their preference with their parents is the Rock but we like this place since the pizza is good — reasonably priced and close to the Supermall theater. The seating is nice for me since it is not overall noisy and I can visit and hear them. The service is always friendly and everyone — even our picky eaters — enjoy the pizza. Usually we get two — a small for us of peperoni and sausage and a large Hawaiian for the three«munchkins». Coming from NYC I know good pizza and while this not NYC approved — it is some of the best in Washington. :)
