This was by far the worst service I have had. I am a firm believer in supporting small local business but I wouldn’t refer Alta Saw to my worst enemy. They told me my lawnmower was not worth fixing and that parts were broken on it. Which this diagnosis took them three weeks to tell me and I had to call them. The front counter gal was almost annoyed that I was calling them for an update and then asked for a $ 35 deposit which wasn’t taken at the time of drop off or discussed when I dropped it off. They quoted me around $ 125 for a tune-up. I immediately took my lawn mower to another local shop and he had it running within 5 minutes. He confirmed that none of those parts where broken that Alta Saw reported in there diagnosis but pieces were missing such as bolts, air filter and the cable was not put back on. Alta Saw gave a bad diagnosis and gave me back my lawnmower with missing pieces… and charged me for it! When I called to speak to a manger he didn’t care nor was apologetic. I said it wasn’t so much about the $ 35 more importantly about the bad diagnosis and bad customer service… He told me to go to Sierra Saw and said he treats his valued customers well. #stihl

We have had our saw blades sharpened here on numerous occasions. Justin has always done a great job. And they are very reasonable. Anytime we had questions or concerns about our blades or even our saws for that matter the owners have always been great answering them. I would recommend them too anyone. Great people and great service.
