I broke down at Gold Run, on my way down the hill, the day before Christmas. Not only did they repair my problem with the linkage in less than four hours; they were kind and warm and arranged to take me further down the hill for a rental in the event they couldn’t complete the repairs that day. I was grateful to have been sent there, I don’t think any other repair shop or dealership would have been able to help me on that particular day or have been willing to extend themselves on my behalf. Thank you so very much.

Yes I Brought my Large Box van in for noise on acceleration, Just like last time, I asked if i could drop it off and get a ride to work (locally) and they did! When I found out the noise was only a Belt Tensioner and not the water pump or belts I was happy with the price of repairs and was able to pick up my van at the end of the day! I was a Master Auto tech in the past and I know I don’t even have to lift my hood when i come here, I’ve been coming here for years! The first time was with my Avalon. The power steering went out and I saw the fluid level was low, so with No visible leaks! The Fluid had to be leaking into the Power Steering Rack boots. I brought it in and they checked it out, gave me a fair price to replace it, told me it would be done the next day so I borrowed my wife’s car for my afternoon appointments. At the end of the same day they called me and told me it was Done already! So, knowing it was coming due for a Timing Belt and Water Pump replacement, I asked for a quote for the complete job including seals and all belts. (Otherwise I would be doing it myself!!). The price quote was so good I told them to do All of it! Since then I/​We have been spoiled by these Fine Folks and their team of Technicians… and I may just sell off my over-​sized tool box… Not that my wife would let me!

The problem appears to be fixed! I will have a second driver test drive the car next… We all had bad experiences @ shops taking advantage, more opinions help.
I was late to my appointment, but they ran diagnostics, confirmed price, made the repair, noticed damage to an adjacent part & made that repair
(jiffy lube quit brking parts on my car!)
& was on my way before afternoon traffic.
so far no problems with lay/​kick in shifting gears.

I took my mom’s car in for some repairs when it started making some weird noises. They were very fast and the car is running perfect. If I’m in Auburn I well definitely be taking my car back there.

My car has been having transfer case issues lately. Today my car finally decided to die. I called AAMCO because I had taken it there few years ago and they said to bring it. They checked it out and I need a new transmission. They made me feel comfortable and were very informative. They even hooked me up with a rental car which they drove me to. Glad I made the decision to take it in.

I had an appointment at 1 and when I got there she asked me if i could wait 15 – 20 min. I said no problem, it was over an hour! She was on the phone the whole time so I couldn’t even talk to her. The only reason why I stayed was because my check engine light came on and they check it for free. I will never come back here!

Definitely would not recommend. My parents brought a vehicle here to have the transmission checked. This shop said they did not find a transmission problem, but that the car needed new tie rods. My parents were given a written estimate, but the shop called them twice to change the original estimate. My mom did not understand why the estimate changed, or what work they finally decided they actually needed to do on the vehicle. I went in to get a new written estimate and Swaran was extremely emotional and defensive when I calmly and professionally told her my mom did not understand I and that I want to get a clear explanation of why the estimate changed and what actual work was being done. She asked my dad to sign the new estimate and I asked him to date his signature so that it would show that he got the written estimate AFTER the work was completed. Swaran completely flipped out at this point. She became very agitated and demanded to know what my problem is and why do I have a problem with him signing the estimate. I again explained that my problem was that I wanted him to date his signature. I asked her to also sign the estimate and receipt and at first she refused and said that she does not have to sign them – only the customer does. I have never expeienced an auto repair shop that was so defensive about being asked to explain the estimate and being asked to sign their own estimate. We just picked the car up today, so I don’t know if the work was quality work or not, but I definitely do not trust this place based on my experience today.

Worst place I’ve ever been. Didnt do anything to my transmission over the 3 days that they had it. Finally got fed up and went to have my car towed to another shop in town (Shultz Tire, grade A service) and the manager tried to hold my vehicle hostage. She wanted 2 hrs of labor time to put back in 6 bolts. While fighting w her the car got the bolts in and off the lift in 10 minutes. Do not take your car here for repairs, better off dropping your car at a preschool and having toddlers work on it.

I have had Aamco work on 2 of my vehicles. Not happy with them. They use the cheapest parts which fail in very few miles. 25k miles on rear brakes/​rotors and new axle seals. Rotors warped, seals leaking ruining emergency brake pads. This is after I got over 100K miles on previous rotors towing a 24′ trailer.

All true on my feed back the worst experience with a business and owners. Had a transmission shop in Rocklin inspect my van they told me and in writing that the torque converter defiantly was not balanced .The owner wanted me to give him my pink slip to hold on to even tho i gave him three checks. He then showed me how many pink slips he had in his book. Please don’t go and get ripped off at this place of business.
