Fran O’Brien’s is a Great place for a seafood meal. The big booths in the back can fit 6 adults comfortably or a combination of adults and children. For larger groups they can put tables together in a couple of places. We’ve taken as many as 10 and been comfortable. The Bartender and wait staff has been working there for years and get to know what you like and don’t like and treat you like family friends. Dan, the Owner, is also generally there mixing with the crowd, busing tables and helping the staff. During the Stone Crab season, Fran’s make them just like Joe’s in Miami Beach. And during the Summer they have lobsters flow in from the East Coast regularly. And from the daily fresh catch, my Wife and her Mom love the Blackened White Fish. Generally meals come with either a salad or chowder. We sometimes get both and when we get the chowder we get the mixed which is a little spicier. And the bread is great and goes very well with their wonderful mussels.
