You might be surprised at how easy it can be to create a healthy diet for people «on the go» … I will help you understand the basics of good nutrition … give you some simple solutions on how to keep up with daily recommended minimums without tons of vitamins and minerals and all sorts of processed supplements … and maybe I’ll even be able to provide improved health, stamina, energy even while you are «on the go»!
History
Established in 2005.
Having worked as a RN in hospitals, doctors offices and as a community visiting nurse, I’ve had the opportunity to see a very broad spectrum of health issues. I really enjoyed all of those experiences but now I’m focusing my nursing background on nutrition. Most of the patients I saw in those days were chronically sick. I really wanted to start working on ways to help prevent some of those illnesses. I started by changing my diet and then teaching others about the importance of nutrition and adding more RAW fruits, vegetables, & berries to their diet every day. So much of your ability to ward of illness is based on the strength of your immune system, and your immune system is kept strong by the phytonutrients in fruits and vegetables. Check out what the USDA says about daily basic nutrition requirements and ask yourself if you have the time and money to add 7 – 13 serving of fruits, vegetables, and berries to your diet and your families. There are alternatives! Contact me to learn more.
Meet the Business Owner
Dawn S.
Business Owner
I was born and raised in Maryland on a farm and I’m the oldest of three siblings. I have been married for 25 years and have three children. My goals were to become a teacher or nurse and I chose nursing as my career path. I graduated from New England Baptist School of Nursing in the 1980’s and have worked in hospitals, doctor’s offices, and as a visiting nursing. I put my nursing career on hold to stay home and raise my children. Six years ago I started this business based on whole food nutrition. Now I’m using my nursing education to teach people the importance of taking steps to help prevent sickness. Remember, «An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.» I have continued to make small nutritional changes over the years that have resulted in healthy improvements. As a mom, wife, and a nurse I can relate to just about anyone. I help people make small healthy changes that last a lifetime. Please contact me to find out how you can benefit!
