Pre-Owned Factory

Purchased car early 2015. Informed the salesman that coolant was low/​empty. Was assured coolant would be filled. Drove home with little to no coolant. Engine was giving off significant heat upon arrival home. Several issues with car, one of them major. Issues were corrected under warranty. *Car was in shop for 3 weeks and was given loaner car* Picked car up and had all dashboard lights on 15 minutes later. Took car back. Problem was resolved 2 days later. Tried to have Frank replace worn front end parts but he would not. Made excuses instead. Ended up paying for rear wheel bearings, front axle boots, control arm bushings along with 4 new tires. (Old tires were mismatched brands and unevenly worn). Paid for several other things that should’ve been replaced, given that I paid a little above the fair price. (Spark plugs, and paint). Jerry is someone who can do the job right if he wants but instead chooses to be lazy. Says he will do something with straight face but will do it delayed or not at all. Please take pride in your work if you are reading this Jerry. Make the world a better place. Anyway, car is stalling like it has for the past 8 months. Becoming more frequent now. Car is at a dealership awaiting diagnosis. Haven’t been able to save much money for myself. Car is a money pit. I’d say half the people at Pre-​owned are con artists. On a positive note, some of the admin and one of the mechs were solid.

Damn rip off artists. Went there and showed me a car that was 14 years old. Right in front of the salesperson, I google the car value and then asked why they wanted more than 2500. than the excellent dealer retail price. Was told because car comes with a very strong warranty. Only reason why I accepted car was cuz the ol lady wanted it against my recommendation. Right off the bat, the car would not pass a RI inspection because the check engine light came on and 2 tires were no good. Complained to pre-​owned factory, they had us bring car back. 3 days later, picked up car and it had an inspection sticker… went 50 miles and the light came on again. This time went to my own mechanic who informed us that nothing was fixed, that they erased the code only. Went back to pre-​owned and the manager Frank said they will split the cost of repair ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ and told us that the head gasket was leaking oil into spark plug chamber, told us 500. will be the cost. When the car was picked up, they charged us the entire 500. so I went and complained again that they agreed to ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ and was told a check for 250. will be sent. Never got any check. After 2 mos of using car, it was empty on oil. Bear in mind no obvious leaks and no smoke blowing. Went to our own mechanic as pre-​owned did not want to hear it. Mechanic we have showed us that the so call repair was never made… no new gasket, bolts, etc. The oil was leaking internally and burnt by the spark plug and instead of fixing it, they put a boot on the spark plug to prevent misfiring. Stay away from these lousy thieving crooks!

Talking to Joe was pleasant and informative. Despite him emailing and asking me 3 times and having a phone converter on when i was coming in they still managed to mess it up. My wife and I travelled an hour and a half to look at a truck with an appointment and as we got there we were informed the truck wasn’t in property and a salesman took it home. Great job on fulfilling your words PreOwned! I set an appointment up to avoid this and it still happened. Thanks for wasting my time and fuel for driving from CT.
Get your act together!
Also be aware mileages are inconsistent with their state amount on the website. They stated the truck had 119,550 and in a photo of the odometer it stated 120,440. Almost a thousand miles different and they were still driving it. It would be interested to see the actually differance now.

Ok I am 30 years old and have never lest a review on any site. I also want to state that the transaction I am writing about happened two years ago but every time I drive by this place it pisses me off so I would like to share my story with you. I walked in and asked for a salesman by name that I had previously talked to on the phone, the second he gets up him and another salesperson get into a whispering war about me right in front of me. Apparently the were discussing who’s turn it was to get an «up». As awkward as it was I ignored it. I looked around and landed on a jeep. It was listed for $ 12 888 the salesman brought me in I even allowed the to run my credit and we agreed on $ 13 500 including leather. It was an 08 decent mileage, 4×4 so I said cool. They needed a few days to wrap it in leather before I was to come back in and sign well that night out of curiosity I search the web to make sure I did indeed get a good deal and the same exact car was listed on their website for $ 8800 opposed to the $ 12 888 they were ready to make me pay for! I was beyond furious and misled, DO NOT do business here folks. Also, during the first I had told my salesman I wanted to come back in an hr as I was covered in dust from my wood flooring job he said cool np and told his finance manager I’d be right back and the finance manager had the nerve to tell the salesperson disregarding the fact I was standing right next to him that he was busy and didn’t have the time. Finally I go back a couple of days later before they had an opportunity to leather up the car and showed the manager the screenshot of the -$ 4000 price difference online to his lot. He tried to feed me a bullshit story that corporate adjusts the price on his end and he never knows the true price. Absolute bullshit, had he been a man and honest and apologized I would have possibly negotiated and met a fair price. The finance manager, the general manager can both go fuck themselves. The salesman was ok but not very professional I honestly wish him the best. Do yourself a favor and disregard this place they are crooks.

This place is a scam. If you do business with them you will be sorry. They lie and do not have pros working for them. My wife bought a car from here and we had so many issues with it and they knew about it but refuse to take responsibility. Frank the manager is unprofessional. Trust me on this if you buy a car from here you will be sorry. I know someone else who got scammed by this place too.
